Question: Shipper I can offer you full use of my 53' trailer I will provide the men to load and unload all you need to do is make sure everything is packed and ready to go, (However we can provide packing if needed for an additional 2500.00). I can do this for 9500.00. please check out our profile and feedback and let me know if you ahve any questions. Thanks, Mike (6/10/2008)

Response: I am very interested. How do you require payment...pickup vs. delivery? You have great references. (6/11/2008)

Response: Thanks you, we work hard to make sure all of our customers are satisfied. We normally collect half on pick up and the balance on delivery. I accept cash, postal money order, or credit card via paypal invoice. If you pay with credit card there is a 3% administration fee. I see you have flexible listed for the dates, can you give me a better idea of when you may be looking to be relocated t Florida? would you be needing packing? Is the area you are moving from and too, tractor trailer acceptable? Please let me know if you have any other questions I can answer. Thanks ~ Mike (6/11/2008)

Response: Are there any potential add-on charges, other than packing, to your quote? Both locations are trailor-accessable. I am intersted in packing as an option...you quoted $2,500 for packing...does that include boxes, paper, etc? I may do the packing myself depending upon what you offer. Another option would be for you to just pack the fragile items (glass table-tops, etc.). How would you charge for that? Lastly I would like to be in FL on July 18 - 20. Would that work for you? (6/12/2008)

Response: July 18th -20th are good for me as well. The 2500.00 I quoted you would include packing material and up to 8 hrs of packing. fragile packing would run around 1,200-1,500 that really just depends on how much fragile you have, it could even be lower. other then packing there would be no additional charges. I'm charging for full use of the trailer flat rate, included is labor loading and unloading. What would be your earliest pick up date? (6/12/2008)

Response: let's do it. Earliest pick-up would be July 7, but I can't take delivery until july 18 so closer to July 11 would be better. i can be flexible even beyond that. (6/14/2008)

Response: Sounds good to me so I will place a bid now and we can iron out the details for the pick up on the phone. Thanks again ~ Mike (6/15/2008)

Response: I am going to accept, but have to wait until Friday 6/20 to return home and get credit card for deposit. Can you extend bid until then? Thanks. (6/17/2008)

Response: No Problem Let me know when Your ready I will extend the bid now thanks ~ Mike (6/17/2008)

Response: I finally have a lease starting 7/18 and am ready to accept your bid. Can you still pick up around 7/11 and deliver no earlier than (but around) 7/18?
Thanks,
Bob (7/1/2008)

Response: I hadn't heard back from you. so I have gotten other shipments. I could do it with a pick up date of around the 15th - 16th and delivery between the 20th - 21st. I just got back from L.A and delivered a full 53' trailer for my shipper here on uship and knowing better what my expenses will be to do this job I would have to ask 11,000.00 to do all that we have talked about. Again this would not include packing. I will do everything else load, pack the truck unload and place. The load I just brought back to West Palm Beach was 28,480 lbs so I figure It will be about the same as yours. Let me know if these dates and price will work for you and we can get this settled. I would need an answer by the 4th to be able to commit to these dates. Thanks again and good to hear from you. Mike (7/2/2008)

Response: Not sure I sent this...Can we split the difference at $10k? I am really tight on the overall move. I am checking dates. Thanks. (7/2/2008)

Response: I can drop another 500.00., but like I said I just did this trip. I hadn't done a trip from the west coast since last July so this one I just did kind of surprised me with how much I spend on fuel and maintenance. So 10,500.00. will get the job done. Also If packing is needed I c`an send the crew over 3-4 days before I get there to do all the packing. Let me know asap. Thanks Mike (7/2/2008)

Question: Uship requires that all bids be all inclusive. This is to protect you from excuses to charge extra. Make sure everything is spelled out in the bid, before accepting any bid. Also check profiles. If you could list your inventory, I would be willing to place a bid, to include everything, with NO hidden charges. (6/16/2008)

Response: I do not have a complete inventory. 2 national moving companies have come to my house to give me detailed estimates. Their weight estimates were 28,000 and 25,500 respectively. Thanks. (7/2/2008)

Question: Hello shipper, are you still looking to be moved?? Thanks, Ron Hall (7/1/2008)

Response: Yes...Thanks. (7/2/2008)

Response: Hello again shipper, If your interested in packing everything yourself, and have me load-unload to correct locations in your new home for 1000 less than the current lowest bid please let me know. I will be back later tonight to check mail. Thanks again, Ron Hall (7/2/2008)

Question: We can do $10k packing just the fragile items, your time frame. If using a credit card it has to be paid 5 business days before p/u, so it can clear. Let me know. Thanks, Tom (7/2/2008)

Response: Hi Tom,
Last remark I saw your truck was missing. Do you have it back? Can you do pick up 7/10-11 with delivery on or after 7/18?
What are payment terms for cash or certified check? Thanks. (7/2/2008)

Response: That was a new truck and trailer we were purchasing. the driver was found. He was in a hospital, he drove to thinking he was having a heart attack and while there had a stroke. He just came out a coma, 3 days ago, and hopefully will have a full recovery. Thanks for asking. We can accept cash, but in a previous message, you said you wanted to use a credit card. We can p/u on the 10th or 11th, with direct delivery. (7/2/2008)

Response: You may have me confused with another shipper. I have never intended to use credit card. I am the guy with somewhere between 25k-28k pounds going from San Jose to Tampa. By Direct Delivery I assume you mean a straight shot. I cannot accept delivery before 7/18.
Are you using a 53' trailer? Thanks. (7/2/2008)

Response: I the 11th the latest for p/u? (7/2/2008)

Response: 12 (sat is OK)...your preference? (7/2/2008)

Response: The 12th would work, for the 18th delivery. I will need to check with my partner, to determine whether we will use a 53 ft or 2 trucks. Terms for cash are 1/3 wire transferred on acceptance. 1/3 at p/u and balance on delivery. You will have to give Uship a deposit on acceptance of bid, of approximately $500, then the above terms apply. (7/2/2008)
