Response: We have a 2000 sq ft home with side garage.We went around last night to estimate weight and came up with around 9000 to 10000 lbs.We were thinking a ABF trailer would work maybe at 28' but would be tight but they dont drive to the area we are moving to. (10/6/2009)

Response: AFB is an expensive option. I just checked it out and it is $3,850 just to get it to my operations at Canton, MI for on 28 foot trialer and from there we would need to tranport it to Gladwin. I can pick up on the 12th with 26 foot moving truck & 12 foot enclosed trailer. Please keep in mind that a round trip at 5-6 miles a gallon that a large truck gets I would be spending over 2,000 in deisel fuel on the round trip run and there is no time to line up a move going that way. Then there are tolls, oil, wear and tear, food, hotels and such. I would need to leave my trialer here to handle other moves we have scheduled so I would need to spend about $300 renting a enclosed trailer to take with me. I could jump though some hoops and make the 12th happen but I would need to bill $4,0000 total with $1,000 due immmedately to book the job, $1,000 due at pickup and the balance at delivery. Just trying to give you some options. Let me know if you want me to submit a bid, Brian (10/6/2009)
Question: Sorry can't make the 12th. The soonest I can get there is the 15th with a moving truck with a 26 foot box towing a 12 foot enclosed trailer which you would be looking at $3,899. Let me know if you would like me to submit a formal bid. Another option open to you if you have to pack up on the 12th would be to have AFB deliver your shipment to my operations here in Canton, MI 48187 and from there we unload the trailer and reload it on my truck and then we take it to Gladwin which I would charge $685. Question: Hello, I just wanted to clarify things as I review my comments they are confusing. the one lower message I left where I said I could make the 12th was left before the other message when I said ABF was an expensive option. I can rearrange my schedule and make the 12th if I know today so the Message that starts with AFB is an expensive option is the most recent. Is this an option you would consider. If not please let me know as I would need to do several things to make it happen.
