Additional Information: We appreciate your interest in assisting us with our long distance move. Reputation, references, service, price, staffing, professionalism and integrity will all be highly important factors in our final selection. We are very experienced at long distance relocations and have previously relocated throughout the country several times. The contents of our home are mostly new and valuable requiring your care and careful handling. We will not require packing service (boxed/wardrobe items) except for select large items (i.e. plasma TV, curio, some larger artwork and other select items). We relocated from Ft. Myers to Saint Louis in June 2007 and used a U-Ship carrier and were very pleased with the service we received. Our move involved 14,600# of contents, 3-movers (11-hours to load/10-hours off load) and a completely full 43' semi trailer load. We anticipate the current move weight to be about 13,500# and will "exclude" a double door refrigerator, dishwasher, range/oven and microwave oven and other miscellaneous personal contents previously moved. However, contents of our move will still require a 43' or larger semi trailer. Thank you and please contact us for additional details Report a Violation

Response: We are highly experienced at long distance moves with the same personal contents due to frequent business transfers. Based upon our past experiences and trends in current market pricing we will receive multiple bids from reliable movers in the $4,000-$5,000 range over the next couple weeks from haulers that can schedule partial back hauls. Response: After reading your inventory list, you are well over 15,000# and any national moving company will give you a quoute between $6800-$8200 for a move of this size and distance. Considering you are on uShip, you will probably get someone to do it for half the price and we can respect that. I personally have been in the moving business since I was a child. My dad was a contractor for Mayflower and Atlas so I've seen it all. However, I know uShip is all about discounts so the best we could offer would be probably around $6000 Flat. If you can get anywhere close to that we may can work something out. Oh,...this company isn't a couple of guys with a pickup truck and a trailer. These guys ARE the professionals...I promise you!!! Response: Sorry but we have moved the exact same contents from Iowa to Florida and Florida to Missouri before using two different movers with 43' semi tractor trailers, not pick-up trucks. The movers were experts with at least 5-10 years experience and the service was highly professional including uniforms. Ironically, fuel prices were also much higher during our last move ($5.25/gal) in Florida and our last move total cost was under $5,000. Our furniture arrived in 4-days in perfect condition on the last two moves and experienced zero problems. Our weights were obtained from weigh station records. Thanks (4/16/2009)

Question: Hello! We are a professional, reliable and efficient moving company that strives on customer satisfaction. A move of this magnitude will require special planning, July 5 thru the 9 is available. We will use a 26ft truck and a 16 ft truck to accomodate this shipment. We will provide 4 good movers, pick up and deliver to Florida within a 72 hour timeframe, we use shrink wrap and furniture pads. (4/17/2009)

Response: Thanks for your interest. Please carefully read detailed information we posted with ad and ask any questions before bidding. We will have 95% of our belongings packed for loading. We will need mirrors, tvs, curio and artwork packaged. Would prefer to have funiture shrink wrapped and blanketed - 80% of furniture is less than 3-years old and expensive. Access will be very good from St. Louis house with 90% of boxes in garage. We will also require bed setup at destination as husband will be away initially after move. We are very experienced moving and will be well prepared and understand the process. Otherwise, we are looking for reliability, communications and service to ensure a perfect move and feedback.
