Question:
1/31/2010
When are you wanting to move this boat? Has there been a recent survey? What about rot? This is about a $10,000 move and needs a trailer capable of supporting the boat across the stringers. Screw pads can damage a wooden boat if the wood is soft or not properly loaded. Report a Violation
Response: Hi. I am actually moving the boat all the way to Norway but have better oversaeas rates from Fort Lauderdale. Not in a hurry with anything. 1 month, 4 months....Exterior has been fully restored, no recent survey, no wood rot whatsoever. Thanks Kjell, Norway1/31/2010Report a Violation
Response: You will need a cradle for this also to ship it overseas. For a boat this size it will be about $1500 maybe more depending upon how sturdy the keel is. A lot of support is needed for that kind of trip. I work with several people in Florida that build cradles. The best way is once the boat is there, build it to fit exactly.1/31/2010Report a Violation

Response: We wii need to confirm height,13' will be problem. She does not appear to be near that to cabin top.2/2/2010Report a Violation
Response: Hi. I beleive 11"6`is more correct. Will that be a problem? I think 13" was with the flybridge that is no longer there.2/3/2010Report a Violation
Question:
2/2/2010
how sure are you of these dimensions? the height looks off and do you think 20000 is a good estimate of wt.? have you put the boat in a lift to get this wt.? i could get you a cradle built for overseas transport. i will be on the west coast for a week or so working with other boats. let me know what you think. thanks, brad Report a Violation
Response: Thanks Brad. I was just told the dimensions and the weight so that`s what I got. Can`t find any proper info on the boattype online either. But I have a few leads that should give me more accurate dimensions in a few days. The flybridge has been taken off and does not come with the boat. That should eliminate some weight. You are building cradles for shipping overseas? From where on the West Coast? Any idea of a price to ship to Norway from where you would be? Just checking.2/2/2010Report a Violation
Response: i work with a company that builds cradles all the time for boats going over seas. i personally don't do it. they are located in georgia where i'm out of. i read where you where trying to get it back to ft. lauderdale b/c its cheaper to ship...so i would pick up the cradle on the way to the lauderdale shipping yard. not sure of any rates going to norway. i could check for you if you like...it takes a while to get answers from freight forwarders. the pic i'm lookin at does not have a flybridge it seems. are there gas or diesel engines? let me know the dimensions when you know something. thanks, brad2/2/2010Report a Violation

Response: any word on your specs yet? thx brad2/3/2010Report a Violation
Response: No, I am sorry, not yet. But I think the height is around 11". The weight should be pretty much correct. The beam I am told is 12,6". But I have not this info verified. Thanks, Kjell2/3/2010Report a Violation
Response: could you go next week for 8500? thx brad2/3/2010Report a Violation
Response: Hi. Not sure yet. Need to get rid of a 1950 54 feet Grebe yacht I have in LA. It`s on ebay. Have lowered the price with $12k so should probably sell this week. Can you send me your e-mail adress as well as phone number? Or is this strictly forbidden on this webpage?2/3/2010Report a Violation
