Questions for this shipment:

Question: do you have a trailer (2/23/2007)
Response: No I do not have a trailer. I am buying the houseboat from someone who just used it for a "get away" place on the weekends. (2/23/2007)
Question: what all do you need from the shipper? Can the boat be loaded onto a flatbed trailer if it is backed down a boat ramp? Same thing at unload site? (2/23/2007)
Response: I'm not really sure what we will need to move the houseboat. I do not have a trailer. (2/23/2007)
Question: Does the houseboat have a flat bottom? Can the outdrive be raised enough to clear the trailer deck if it is put on a flat bed? What is the total height of the boat including the bottom? (2/24/2007)
Response: I'm not sure how deep the V is and the boat has an outboard motor. Height is 12ft (2/24/2007)
Question: Picture appears to be of a '70s Stardust. Should have a fin keel with a slight vee bottom. Highly recommend not using a flat bed. In order to bid, we need to know loading facilities, i.e., Travel lift or water load at origin and travel lift or launch at destination. If launching is required at destination, is it salt or fresh water? Thank you, Century Maritime. (2/25/2007)
Response: I was told yesterday the water is too low to load boat from the dock it is moored at. I will have to bring it around the lake a little way to load it. I do not have a trailer and have never moved a boat like this before. (2/25/2007)
Question: We move these type of boats frequently and have custom built trailers for this purpose. We water load and launch. Is it going into salt or fresh water? We could possibly get to this by the end of March or first part of April. Is this too late? Our profile is under centurymaritime. (2/25/2007)
Response: it will be going into brackish(bayou) I really need to move this boat soon (2/25/2007)
Question: Can you find travel lift facilities near destination as I hate to submerse our equipment in anything other than fresh water. Thank you Century Maritime. (2/25/2007)
Response: im not sure if I can (2/26/2007)
