Questions for this shipment:
Question:
how certain are you about the dimensions of the yacht?? 6' high does not seem accurate. Please see our profile, we are a bay area based provider and would like to handle this shipment for you. thank you. (3/20/2009)
Response:
40 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht SPECIFICATIONS Length 40' 0" Water 100 gals. Beam 14' 0" Headroom 6'4" Draft 3' 0" Hull Type Modified-V Weight 24,000 Deadrise Aft 14 ยบ Clearance 13'6" Designer Bob Rioux Fuel 300 gals. Production 1982-90 (3/20/2009)
Question:
The height is critical on this for an estimate,if it loads over 14'6 and under 15' it will rquire an additional height pole and if over 15' a survey as well(Fl)..tduncan55 (3/20/2009)
Response:
The ht' is 13'6 Tt's 40 long and 14 wide. I am ready to ship IMMEDIATELY (3/20/2009)
Response:
I have ran the numbers twice, your boat being 14'w and loading over 14'6"h but under 15'h one height pole in Fl and one follow escort required to the Texas line and again in Ca.The cost will be high by any standard, escort fees(they get motels also)will increase the cost to over 10,500.00.Bridge removal will only save 1000.00 on the height pole and would probally cost that much to remove and reinstall.I will be loading from Ca next week to NYC.I will need to load something back to Ca asap to cover another load.thanks,tduncan55(ThomasDuncanTrucking) (3/21/2009)
Question:
FYIboat has a clearance of 13'6 plus a draft of 3ft. out of water boat is 16;6 hope this helps you (3/21/2009)
Question:
Bridge clearance is 13'6" plus the 3' draft for a total of 16'6", the bridge will have to be removed. (3/22/2009)
Response:
Not an issue- Bridge will be removed prior to shipping. (3/22/2009)
Question:
P/u aprox.3rd April,deliver in 7 days...tduncan55 (3/22/2009)
Question:
If it loads<14'6"H and with the required escorts for width(not over 14'w) from pickup point to the Texas line(2 in Al)and again in Ca.I cannot offer a better deal.3.50/mile with escorts and permits is pretty low on this size move, generally they would cost 4.00/mile and up.I can only offer this low of a price because of my need to return quickly to Ca.tduncan55 (3/22/2009)
Question:
your boat is 16ft 6in high not 13ft 6in high forgot to add draft 3 foot (3/23/2009)
Question:
Are you planning on removing the bridge? (3/23/2009)
Response:
YES. I plan on removing the bridge. The boat is going to be hauled out of the water on April 1, 2009 at 10:30 am and will be ready for pick up on FRIDAY APRIL 3 at Dania Beach, FL 33004 [contact information removed] (3/23/2009)
Response:
Sorry, Uship removed your phone number its against there rules for us to exchange information. I would love an opportunity to talk to you but is forbidden. View my profile for references. (3/24/2009)
Question:
i see your bid was canceled, are you still looking to have your boat transported? (3/29/2009)
Question:
can this boat be skippered or does it need hauled? (5/30/2009)
Question:
are you still in need of transport and has your deal closed (5/30/2009)
Question:
Hi, do your still need a carrier for this? I you do, what is your time frame? (5/30/2009)
Response:
Yes. I need a carrier. I am ready to go ASAP. I need a firm/date committment. Thanks (5/30/2009)
Response:
Thanks for the fast responce! I did not realize you were ready to ship now! The next opening I have is for the last week of June! The bad thing is, if you are a good, professional carrier, then you are very busy now! Make your choice carefully! Good Luck! (5/30/2009)
Question:
hello Please let me know if you would like to book this, my crew arrived back this afternoon, we have another crew in tomorrow, we have 3 clients ready to book like yourself and two others leaving this week... I would like to have jeff go to the marina where she is tomorrow if you book this.. where is she currently (5/31/2009)
Question:
hello.. have 1 crew left.. other booked... please let us know. (6/1/2009)
Question:
do you have any other questions for us... (6/1/2009)
Response:
I am prepared to go with you but I need a committment that you can pick up the boat by a date certain. FOr every day the boat sits I am being charged by 2 marinas and so I would like a $100 credit against the final price for each date post the stated p/u date that you delay. If you say you will pick it up no later than next monday - fine - I just don't want to be penalized for every day there after. The clock starts to tick after June 8th. IF you are OK with this - then we have a deal. If not then I will not be able to do business with you. (6/1/2009)
Response:
you have a deal... (6/1/2009)
