Questions for this shipment:

Question: HELLO,WE CAN DO IT FOR YOU ,DID YOU HAVE A MAX-TARGET PRICE IN MIND? (8/15/2006)
Response: I've had it moved several times and have seen a wide spread in quotes. Not sure what the fuel cost difference is now, but I'm looking for the best bid I can get. (8/15/2006)
Question: We could do this for around $1700. Just make sure whoever you decide to use has Commercial Liability Insurance and has MC# DOT# otherwise you are risking your RV. Let use know if we can help. Thank You. (8/15/2006)
Response: You are the first quote. I'll hang on to it and let you know. Thanks (8/15/2006)
Question: GOOD, WE WILL HELP AND WE CAN BEAT ANY BID YOU HAVE SO FAR. (8/15/2006)
Response: That's good to hear. I'm going to let the bids come in for the rest of August, then contract someone at that time. Thanks (8/15/2006)
Question: Greetings, you have this listed as gooseneck, is this correct? Or is it fifth wheel? Also as the gentleman said about the DOT#, MC# also check to see if they are completely legal, log books, DOT inspection on the truck, you also need to check the hours they run in a day, as a driver they are only allowed 11 hours of drive time. If they say they can deliver in a day then you need to find out how they can legally run 1100 plus miles in a day and do it legal. IF this guys wants to continue talking about being legal in the DOT# MC# he needs to be completely accurate with ALL DOT rules and regulations Thank you (8/15/2006)
Response: It is a 5th wheel trailer that had a gooseneck adapter put on it before I bought it. I'll be sure to check insurance and I don't care if it takes a couple days to get it there in one piece. I'll be taking bids until last of August, and contract with someone then. Thanks (8/15/2006)
Question: (8/16/2006)
Response: Experience/track record is important to me. Insurance is important to me. I can't say I'm all that interested in paperwork that I don't fully understand, and I don't like intrusive government oversight. I manage military building projects, and see every day how too much government oversight leads to double the cost with poorer quality. I'd like numbers and references until the end of August, and the best deal, not necessarily the cheepest, will get my business. I move often, sometmes coast to coast, and would like to find someone to just call when it's getting close for the next move after GA. I'd prefer not to be used as a forum, argue somewhere else. Thanks Charlie (8/16/2006)
Question: HI I HAVE a f550 ford with dot. an mc, no. 50000 cargo ins. to pull a big trailer 17000lbs. you need dual wheel truck most are only 12000 gvw. my 550 is 17500. I FARM UP HERE IN EASTERN IA. ben trucking for 35 years could do for 1495 thanks Garry (8/16/2006)
Response: I think I'll ask for the trailer to a scales stop on this trip, so I'll be able to answer the BIG question. Thanks for your bid. (8/17/2006)
Question: I will be watching this bid, we are owners of a company who doesnt care who runs what w/what we do this to pay for our trips that might not be scheduled such as this one, please read our bio if you can if you will allow us to bid I would appreicate it thank you-wc091506 (8/16/2006)
Response: You appear to be well qualified. Please bid any way you would like. My first time with this service, and I've gotten bids as questions and officially. Not sure I care for the Accept or Reject quickly or get de-listed warning that comes when someone puts in a bid. I'd rather have a few options before contracting. (8/17/2006)
Question: oh yea by the way my rv is the 36'raptor w/ a 10' toy box on the rear and yes l pull it and l do the normal rv driver check list thanks (8/16/2006)
Response: Thanks (8/19/2006)
Question: (8/17/2006)
Question: (8/17/2006)
Question: Does this have an adjustable neck on it? Thanks (8/17/2006)
Response: It is adjustable. There are 6 bolts on either side where the adapter fits into the 5th wheel mount. It set as high as it goes now and rides level when pulled by a Ford 4x4. I'll try to get a photo uploaded. (8/17/2006)
Question: (8/18/2006)
Response: I don't mind answering anyones questions, or taking bids. If you are interested in the job please bid, if not please pontificate elesewhere. The rig has been pulled coast to coast by a 3/4 ton once, but he had a lot of engine work done. I do prefer to have a 1 ton duelly pull it. Thanks (8/19/2006)
Question: hello i am going to watch this and if i can move this on your dates i will bid at end of august i am a trucking co. have 100,000 cargo ins.and would be happy to move it at later dates also. just making it clear for myself that the gooseneck attachment will be on at time of p/u and the cond. of tires thanks steve (8/21/2006)
Response: The gooseneck is on, and the tires are all under 5000 miles, and oldest were put on in Sept of 04. Since you don't have any feedbacks here, I'd need some references from other RVs trips you've made. No insult intended, it's just the last professional trucker who moved it was a nightmare, and history is as important as cost is to me now. Thanks (8/22/2006)
Question: (8/23/2006)
Question: I Will watch this shipment, will haul for 1.35 a mile if still needs done. Professional Driver CDL w/Doubles/Triples Endorsment. 2001 Dodge 3500 set up to pull any Trailer. Leased To Transport Co. 1 Million Liability/100K Cargo. See Profile BlueOx (8/23/2006)
Response: Your unofficial bid is substantially higher than others with far more positive feedbacks and all the insurance and credentials I'm looking for. Thanks for the bid, but I'll be contracting with someone else. Good luck, and please keep in mind that some of us who contract loads factor in a provider's willingness to respect their written requests when evaluating professional behavior. To any potential bidders: If you use this add as a pulpet, don't bother to bid. Have insurance. Have references. Have a proven rig. Have the courtacy to only speak to me, and only about your price and qualifications. Thank you (8/23/2006)
Question: Have 06 1 ton chevy duramax dully with 30000lb gooseneck hitch. Will haul for 1400. Thanks, Robert. (8/26/2006)
Response: Have 2 bids from others with equal equipment and far more referencece for $200 less. Thanks for your bid anyway. (8/27/2006)
Question: Also, i live a short distance from Belton, Mo. Thanks, Robert. (8/26/2006)
Response: Too high. (8/27/2006)
Question: you didn't want to mediate a forum, so your not. The trip is 1100 miles will run 300 to 350, plus uship fees, plus food, and loding, and wear and tear on my new 06 durmax dully. I'm not in this to make 200 dollars a day. If you still need it moved without hasle, contact me. Would love to do business with you. Thanks, Robert. (8/27/2006)
Response: Thanks (8/28/2006)
