Packaging: Item is not packaged. It can be boxed, or wrapped in blankets... as long as the chrome rim is not damaged in transit.

Special Handling Instructions: none, the outside is protected by rubber, but the sides will need to be assured they are not damaged in transit

Charitable Designation: This shipment replaces my current setup which will be donated. So this shipment is not for charity, but a result of this happening will be a donation of like for like goods

Response: Does this price include either boxing the wheels or individually wrapping them in thick blankets to prevent damage? I am assuming for 220 that shipping insurance is also included yes? If your answers are yes I'll contact the seller and see if next week is acceptable. It might have to be later in the week as the seller is going to have to wait for my money to clear before he releases the wheels. 7/8/2009

Response: : We are leaving Chicago Monday be out there Wed Am. We have heavy thick moving blankets we can wrap each on in seperate. we would inspect the rims upon pick up and take photos to show you that it was same way as when we picked them up. What is the declared value of Rims?7/8/2009

Response: Ok I'll check on the Wednesday date. Assuming the tires survive the rims are $899.99 dollars. So I'd like to insure them for that amount. If the tires get destroyed it would be my loss. To buy tires new it would be another 1250 or $2150 total. Blankets would work just fine for protecting the wheels7/8/2009

I will be in NY from July 25th thru Aug 8th. I can pick up on my way back home to the Chicago area if they can wait that long. I drive a suburban and will have back cargo area and back seats available for shipping.

Response: Hello. Timing is not a problem for me really. Once I work out shipping and the details, I will have to pay for the items and then you can pick them up so If I have to wait a week or two longer that is not horrible. I do have two other open bids one is for today (which I can't make) the other is for next thursday. he is coming back to his home base of chicago. If you have some blankets or something to shield the rims for getting damaged a suburban would work just fine. Let me know what price you are thinking so I can compare with the two I just got. Response: : I figured they would be ok in the suburban. I will have blankets and such. My 16 yr old son and I are going to visit my new grandbaby due July 29th and will be camping for the 2 weeks we are there. I am wanting to do this to offset the cost of gas to make the trip. Response: Blankets are great. Are you visiting in Syracuse or just passing through it? How much money are you asking for to offset you visiting your grandbaby? I'm pretty easy going and flexible so I'm sure we can work it out. I can unload the wheels when they get here, they should weigh about 30lbs each so it's maybe a good thing you are traveling with a 16yr old to help you out!7/10/2009

I calculate it's 700 miles from chicago to Syracuse @ ~14mpg that's 140 dollars for gas one way. I will be going to Fort Drum to see my son and his wife. This is my first grandbaby and cant miss being there. This shipment would really help me out. As I will only have money from one paycheck for the trip. And no I dont make that much money! LOL We will be staying at a campground during our stay so we will have the blankets to cover them. I do have full coverage on my suburban also. If you have any questions just ask. I havent done much of this before but if I am going that way I might as well try to offset the gas prices!
