Additional Information: I am moving from LA to Chicago and am looking to have 1 crate and 4 pallets shipped. The crate is 3' x 6' x 3' high and filled with furniture pieces broken down and a bike. The pallets are boxes filled with my library of books and some small appliance pieces. I think the shipping class would be 50? It would be picked up at a residence near UCLA and delivered in Des Plaines, IL 60018 at a residence. Truck would need a lift gate and pallet jack. Pickup: 6/11/2008 to 6/13/2008 and Delivery: 6/20/2008 to 6/27/2008. In Violation

Question: Hello - what would the "release value" per lb for all items being shipped? ... the lowest possible NMFC class is 100 for personal items not exceeding $0.10 / lb ... meaning if there is any claim, then all common carrier is on the hook for is $0.10/lb value ... let me know ...
