Questions for this shipment:

Question: hey; could be in the area this week & could do for your target price. thanx t.ault@cla (11/17/2008)
Response: Hello, In the area of where my alpacas are? I need to know the arrival in Nashville date please if you do this. I travel also with my job so I am not always there. I can arrange to be there for delivery. Just need to know when. Right now I am looking at any time in the first two weeks of December. However I will be around for sure Nov. 22 thru 24th as well. Please tell me how you bed down the animals? Also, are they together with only each other or with other animals in the same compartment? I appreciate your response. Thanks, Karen (11/17/2008)
Response: hey; this would be a direct ship. bedding would be shavings, stays dryer then straw. they would have there own compartment. no crowding, plenty of room. thanx t.ault@cla (11/18/2008)
Response: Hi, Thanks for responding. Bedding might be dryer than straw. However the shavings totally ruin the fiber on suri animals. No way to ever get it all out. If you do, the fiber is so broken that the animal couldn't be shown well anyway. I just received my white male suri alpaca. He came in shavings. Two weeks later he looks much the same. - - - - - like a snowman. His neck still makes crunches when you touch it with pine all the way to the skin. The first fleece is the most special. His is ruined. I am not going to ruin the others who are all suris except one. This year is their first fleece as well. Thanks, Karen (11/23/2008)
Response: hey; thanx for the info. t.ault (11/23/2008)
Response: The response indicates that he did receive my answer. Thank you! (11/29/2008)
Question: We could do you the first week in Dec. They would have their own compartment, bedded deeply with straw. It would be direct haul. We could do your target. Please let us know if this works and we will place a bid. Kindly advise. Brighteyes (11/17/2008)
Response: Dear Brighteyes, I had a provider (I was told) that someone else had arranged. Now I cannot get any contact from them and have no response from phone or emails for four days. Their bid was $725.00. Maybe the farm left on vacation. They apparently forgot that they had confirmed my transport. They did give me a phone number that has no feedback and is apparently new. Anyway, I see that you have lots of positive response. I could receive my four alpacas on Dec. 2-4th or 9th or 10th (even 12-14th if I have a few days notice) or 21st thru 23rd. If these work for you and they could be in straw instead of any pine or wood shavings, please give me your best bid. Thank you sincerely, Karen (11/29/2008)
Response: Karen, it would be the latter date, Dec. 21st thru the 23rd. Yes, I like to feel we have achieved good feedback, we REALLY try hard. My driver is from IA, and has been raised around all sorts of livestock, as his father was Amish raised. We do use straw instead of shavings, so that is not a problem. We could do your haul for $825. Wish it could be less, but you have four animals, and that will take up a good bit of the trailer. Reece is actually in IA NOW, and will be heading back Tuesday to Carolina. He will be going back to IA just before Christmas, so if you can wait we would LOVE to have your business. No worries about him picking up your animal. If you book us, he will be there!! If that will work, let me know and I will place a formal bid. We appreciate you giving us your consideration, and look forward to doing business with you!! Thank you. Brighteyes (11/29/2008)
Question: Looking to leave 15 miles SE Superior WI on 11/25 and arrive in Nashville area on 11/26. Bringing back Goats. (11/20/2008)
Response: Dear Mr. Carlson, I am working on those days and will be in Texas. Thank you anyway. I appreciate your bid. Karen (11/23/2008)
Question: Can they all ride together? If so when would you like to book this in for the first couple weeks in Dec. Let us know what iy will take to get it booked in for our trip thru the first or second week of Dec. We go thru once a week. Thanks (11/21/2008)
Response: Hi, The male would have to ride separately since we are not certain that the girls are bred and he is too young to be attempting to breed them. I may already have transportation. Not certain yet. Thank you! Karen (11/23/2008)
Question: Hello, still waiting for a reply. Could pick them up on Tuesday and deliver on Wednesday, straight direct haul. Kindly respond. Brighteyes (11/21/2008)
Response: Hi Brighteyes, Thanks for your bid. Not sure what Tuesday you are talking about. I leave town tomorrow to fly for a week. Hoping to get my alpacas here in the first ten days of December. Need time to get work time off to be home for delivery. I may have a transporter. Ill know by tomorrow I think if he answers email. We will see. Thanks. Karen (11/23/2008)
Response: His trip got pushed back a day. He will be in the pickup area on Wed. night. He could pick up the alpacas and deliver them on Sunday if that would work, but you will have to respond quickly. Kindly advise. Brighteyes (11/25/2008)
Response: Hi Brighteyes, Not sure when this was sent or what Sunday you mean? I just sent you a list of my days at home. Looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Karen (11/29/2008)
Question: Would you be ready to transport tonight? I have a driver who's picking up a Fjord in MN and then he could come pickup for you, should be next day delivery. Liz (11/24/2008)
Response: Hello! I am in Reno Nevada tonight. I do need transport of my four alpacas in deep straw. I can be there to receive them on Dec. 2-4th or 9-11th and (even 12th-14th if I can have a little notice). or Dec. 21-23rd. Please give me your best bid and date. Thanks sincerely, Karen (11/29/2008)
Question: Could all 4 alpacas go into a 8x5 stall? I could do it for $840 I could make the run on Dec. 28 or maybe a little sooner. Please let me know if you are interested. (11/24/2008)
Response: Hi nbrowns1, Thought I had transport already arranged. Somebody forgot. He was doing $725.00. Anyway I do need transport. I have 4 alpacas, all yearlings but one. I need them transported in deep straw. I can receive them in Nashville on Dec. 2-4th or 9-11th, (even the 12-14th too with just a few days notice.) Or, Dec. 21-23rd. Question: hello will pick up on 12-2 and delivery on 12-3 work ? (11/24/2008)
Response: Hi sowle, Those days are perfect for me! Haven't been able to reach the farm I am purchasing from for several days though. What is your best bid? Transport had already been set up for $725 so I was not free to get bids. Now I must do something. I also have dates there for receiving animals on Dec.7-9th and possible also (if not at last minute for Dec.12-14th) and for certain on Dec.21-23rd as well. Thanks sincerely, Karen (11/29/2008)
Question: I could transport at the beginning of the year. I would have shavings or straw which ever one you prefer. I would have hay, water, and I stop every 3-4 hours. Would you be prefer. (11/28/2008)
Response: Hi nbrowns1, I believe I just sent you the answers to your questions just now. Not sure what order these are in on uship. I am trying to catch up now that my arranged transport for $735 is not responding or forgot or? Thanks, Karen (11/29/2008)
Response: Please let me know if you would like me to put a bid in. I could do it for 730.40 that is what the exact charge would be. You choose if you would like straw or shavings. I will have water and hay. Also I could have the alpacas to the location that night or early the next day all depending on weather conditions and traffic. I would keep great communication. Have a great night and look forward to talking with you. (11/30/2008)
Response: Hi nbrown, Got your message. What do you mean by "that night"? What date would they arrive please? (12/1/2008)

Response: Hi nbrowns, That will be perfect. I can accept your bid as long as the delivery is on Dec. 21st, not Dec.20th. I would also be happy to change delivery to either Dec. 15th or 16th or Dec. 9th or 10th if that would be better for you. Thanks, Karen Looking forward to doing business with you! (12/1/2008)
