Questions for this shipment:

Question: What do these pallets weigh? Not 10,000 each I assume. Thanks, Jess Rankin (5/23/2009)
Response: No, the total weight will be around 10,000 pounds. Could ad more if the shipping costs are low enough. Thanks, Jim (5/23/2009)
Question: Hello Jim,We are from Stillwater,Ok.Can this go on a open trailer ? (5/24/2009)
Response: Yes, if it doesn't rain. The shipment is cattle feed in 50 lb bags, on pallets. If weather is an issue, they could be covered with a tarp. If the price is right, I could order more feed for a bigger load. The point of origin is Stillwater Milling in Stillwater. Thanks for your interest. Jim (5/25/2009)
Response: Do you have a way of unloading the pallets at delivery destination? (5/25/2009)
Response: I have a tractor, but no forks. I may be able to obtain the forks. Are you driving a semi? (5/25/2009)
Response: No, we have a Dodge 3/4 ton with a 3/4 car low profile open center gooseneck trailer. Look at our profile pictures to see our equipment. that will give you a better idea of what you would be working with. (5/25/2009)
Response: The bed looks to be low enough that I could use my tractor front loader to get the pallets off. I am not in a huge hurry to get the product here. If you have an opportunity to pick up something else along the way, (either way) I can wait for a short time. The shipping cost for me is critical, due to the cost of the feed. If the cost gets to high, it wouldn't make since to buy the product. Thanks for you interest. Jim (5/25/2009)
Response: Jim,the best we can do is $200 a pallet. We can tarp them ,or have them shrink wrapped. No big hurry here let us know what you decide.Philis (5/25/2009)
Question: weight wise we can haul 14700lbs. We can haul the 4 pallets for you for $200.00 a pallet to us. If that works for you and you can obtain the forks to lift off, then let us know and we can place a formal bid for you to accept. (5/25/2009)
Response: I will call the feed company in the morning to verify weights and sizes. I appreciate the price quote, but I'm still a little high. If I can purchase more product and the feed co. gives me a better price, how many pallets would you accept and how will the price adjust? (5/25/2009)
Response: Price would be $200 a pallet.Wish we could help more but just like the farmer and the ranchers we are trying to keep afloat.Fuel, insurance, truck payments, tires, oil, tarps, straps, tolls, food, lodging it all adds up.Philis. (5/25/2009)
Response: I absolutely understand! We are all facing the same issues these days. I will be in contact with you tomorrow, after I speak to the feed company. Will there be room for more pallets, should I decide to purchase more? (5/25/2009)
Response: Yes you can purchase more,as long as the total weight is not over 15,000.In the meantime you can check our dot/mc and insurance under our company name.Hope you get this, lol Philis.(hint, wink) (5/25/2009)
Question: ive got a low door aint big anough for a forklift to get in do you know if pallet jacks are available to use at pick up location if so i can haul up to 5-6 pallets for 160 a pallet (5/25/2009)
Question: did you find anything out yet ? (5/26/2009)
Response: Yes, just got the information, sorry for the delay. I did verify that the pallets are standard size pallets. The height of each pallet is five feet or less. If you can handle six pallets for $829 and pick up on Monday, send me the official bid and we can get started. Thanks Jim (5/26/2009)
Question: my bid is in already i told you id do the 4 pallets for the 629 figure and the others for 100 each extra pallet so all you have to do is accept my bid just accept my bid and ill be able to talk to you on everything else (5/26/2009)
