Questions for this shipment:

Question: WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN SHIPPING 3? THATS ALL I THINK I COULD GET AT ONE TIME. THANKS--GTHAULING (12/5/2007)
Response: I might be. If we were only moving 3 of them, I would want to move the 3 narrow fronts. Also, the rate would have to be pretty attractive since I would still have to do something about the 4th tractor. Thanks for your time. -Tom (12/5/2007)
Response: THE 3 NARROW FRONT ONES WOULD BE FINE. WHAT DO YOU THINK AN "ATTRACTIVE RATE" WOULD BE? WHATS IN YOUR BUDGET? I MAY BE ABLE TO GET THE 4th ONE AT A DIFFERENT TIME TOO. THANKS--GTHAULING (12/5/2007)
Question: DO THEY ALL RUN AND DRIVE? THANKS--GTHAULING (12/6/2007)
Response: Thanks for your inquiry. Actually, only one of the tractors was sold to me as runnable. However, I would not want to count on it running. I have no clue how long it has been sitting. Thanks again. Tom (12/6/2007)
Response: WHAT WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO GIVE TO HAVE THREE (3) OF THESE HAULED TO YOU IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS? I AM WORKING ON A LOAD IN YOUR AREA. THANKS AGAIN--GTHAULING (12/6/2007)
Response: No more than I have to. ;) You tell me what you can do and I'll tell you if it works for me. Thanks a lot for your time. Sincerely, Tom J. (12/6/2007)
Question: Do you the dimensions of each of the tractors? (12/6/2007)
Response: Hello. The W-9 should be 134.25"L X 75.75"W. For the 3 narrow front tractors, just figure 143"L X 96". Thanks for your time. Sincerely, Tom J. (12/6/2007)
Question: would pickup on monday or tuesday of next week and deliver no later than thursday or friday of next week work for you? I have a 36ftx102" tri-axle trailer that should be able to handle them all if I understand your measurements correctly, if so, please let me know and I will place a formal bid. (12/11/2007)
Response: Hello. I don't remember off the top of my head what the measurements were that I listed but I estimated that the total weight would probably be around 25,000 lbs. It sounds like you are talking about a trailer behind a pickup. Is that correct? Are you sure that you can haul that kind of weight? Concerning the length, I estimated that each tractor was approximately 11 ft. long but since 3 of the 4 are narrow fronts, a person could put at least 2 of them side by side, opposite of each other. In the past, I have received loads where the shipper took one of the front rims off of the wheatland tractor (W-9) and was then able to put it side by side and opposite of a narrow front. Keep in mind that I will have to make arrangements with the former owner as he will be the one helping to load. (as needed) This isn't something that is likely to be taken care of overnight. Thanks! Tom (12/11/2007)
Response: yes i can handle that kind of weight, I have hauled it several times before. I just need to know for sure that they will fit on a 36 ft x 102" flatbed, if so I can bid (12/11/2007)
Response: Alright, well, I would say that, in my estimation, if you are willing to get the W-9 and one of the narrow front tractors opposite of each other so they can also b e somewhat side by side, then yes, they should all fit within the 36 foot span. What I was trying to point out previously was that it might take a little bit of "doing" to get the W-9 sitting opposite of another tractor but it certainly CAN be done. Further, the former owner has a tractor to help with in loading and I believe that it has a loader on it. I suppose, at worst, a person could lift the front of one of the narrow fronts and so get the wide front of the W-9 underneath it...? If you have a winch on your trailer, that would be most helpful as well. If not, we sometimes pull them on by driving the pull tractor along side the trailer. It works pretty well. Thanks, Tom (12/11/2007)
Response: yes I do have a winch and I will place a formal bid now thank you for your time. (12/11/2007)
Question: sir I was just wanting to let you know that I have no problems DOING as you said the work to get these trailers to fit, I look forward to your business and hope to serve you the best that I can. Thank you for all your time and consideration and I look forward to hauling these tractors for you if you decide to choose my company. Brandon Crusha (Cowboy Haulin) (12/13/2007)
Response: Hello. We are in the same neighborhood on price. I am really looking to get something in the $300 per unit area or under. I can get it done for less but would have to wait til Jan. or Feb. I'd prefer not to do that, if possible so I am seeking bids. If this works for you, I can see if the prev. owner can be available to load as soon as the first part of next week. Thank you very much for your time. Sincerely, Tom (12/13/2007)
Response: Due to fuel costs I can only afford to do it for about 325 per unit and I will have to postpone it til a day or so after Christmas, if this still works for you I will place another formal bid, however, please let me know asap and I may be able to fit it in before Christmas and go with our original time frame. (12/14/2007)
Response: I will go the $325 per unit ($1300 total) if you would like to submit that bid. However, I wanted to tell you that I talked to the prev. owner this AM and he will be available for loading Dec. 19 thru the 22nd. After that, it would most likely be after Jan. 1st. If you can hit the December window, I would much prefer it. Prev. owner has been very agreeable and easy to get along with thus far and said that he will await the shipper's call. I will decline your previous offer now and if you would please resubmit the new amount, I will accept ASAP. Thank you. (12/14/2007)
