Question: Could you please verify the weight of these units? I can transport up to 26,000 lbs at a time and am a local transporter based in McAllen. (4/14/2008)

Response: the supplier told me each units weights around 8000 pounds with battery inclusive. beside it, i have to move one from Laredo Tx to Hidalgo Tx same same let me know for it thank you Luis (4/15/2008)

Response: With one (1?) coming back this may work out well... At 8000 lbs I can haul 3 of them at a time (26k lb load capacity), so I will have to make 2 trips (2 at a time). You said that you will Dock load/unload. What is your dock height? and do you have the means of loading/unloading from a LowPro trailer that has a deck height of only 36in (3 ft)? My final bill for all 5 forklifts is likely to be less than you current lowest bid! Question: Are you still needing this done? If you can load/unload from a lowpro trailer (36" deck height) and I can do this in 2 runs I can do each load for $600 (McAllen to Laredo; 2 lifts per trip) and the return trip with the other forklift for $300 (Laredo to McAllen up to two lifts per trip). With what you have told me so far (4 lifts to Laredo and 1 back to McAllen) the entire charge would be $1500. I will place a bid for the first load only ($600). I should be able to move all 5 lifts within one day depending on dock hours, no more than 2 consecutive days. I can do this tomorrow (Friday) or Monday if you would like; or another date can be arranged if need be. I am a fully licensed and DOT/FMCSA Compliant carrier with full coverage insurance. Response: What I do need is to concentrate 5 forklift in one place, it could be McAllen or Laredo Tx. Options 1A- one movement option should be to move all four to Laredo Tx to reach the one is there. 1B- second movmente option shoul be to move only the one at Laredo Tx to Mcallen. Response: 1A: $600 per trip (2 lifts per trip), 2 trips, total: $1200 (McAllen to Laredo) 1B: $600 per trip, 1 trip (1 lift), total: $600 (Laredo to McAllen) The $300 rate included a discount for a return trip from same shipper (all loads were from you), since there is now not a return trip, I cannot offer that discount. I should still be able to do this tomorrow or Monday, but need to arrange another shipment to offset whichever direction is empty. You have not yet answered about the deck height, so I am guessing that the low deck is not a problem? You will be responsible for all loading and unloading. Response: Yes, I am needing still this service, I got a 1000 usd bid to move form Mcallen to Laredo Tx, not sure if you can give me a better one. to start doing it, I am finishing all paperworks needed and this will take me two days long to be ready. Let me know - Thank you Luis (4/22/2008)

Response: I am unable to move the 4 lifts from McAllen to Laredo for less than $1000. I can however move the one from Laredo to McAllen for the original amount of $600 on delivery. The best I could do for the 4 from McAllen to Laredo would be $550 each on delivery (total $1100 paid to me on delivery.)
