Question: We can do it on Friday if will make the deal. We are based out of Kansas City and are becoming our towns top ranked movers. I Can garuntee you will be pleased :-) Mountain Movers (10/21/2009)

Response: Chris:
What size of a truck/trailer would be used?
ED (10/21/2009)

Response: Thank you for the quick response. We would have a 26 foot enclosed box truck. I will put my loading abilities up against anyone in the business. That is essencial for the safety and stability of the load especially for long distance moves. As far as having a company that you can trust please read the comments left by our shippers. Withought feedback you never know what your getting your self into, especially in this business. You will be very pleased :-) Mountain Movers (10/21/2009)

Response: Chris, our last move we tried alone and it took two 26' trucks and used a 53 ft to move in here, although there was a lot of empty space. Wondering how to figure out if it will work!
Maria (10/21/2009)

Response: I can get another 26 footer no problem. We have done many VIP moves and are very accustomed to them. Mountain Movers (10/21/2009)

Response: What would the total be for the two trucks, please? (10/21/2009)

Question: Hello this is Chris from Mountain Movers again. I just got out of some business meetings. Now I have the liberty to go into detail over our options. This will definetely be, in my opinion , a circumstance that would call for professional movers. The safety of your furniture will depend greatly on the way it is loaded. Going through the Rockies, everything should be padded with proffessional pads and loaded accordingly. As far as pricing, I would truly be suspect of low bids that shoot under 2700. Hidden charges and last minute mover fees are a common occourance unfortunately in this industry. That being said, depending on the angles and weight of your items, I can load 12000 pounds high and tight in one 26 footer. Even if you don't use us ask me any questions you deemed neccessary so you won't get stuck with crappy movers and regret the whole thing. Mountain Movers (10/21/2009)

Response: Chris, thanks for getting back with me. I am just so unsure of the truck size, and believe me, want to say let's do this! What would happen if you and your crew arrive and some things simply would not fit? I have never used a professional mover, just end up getting U-Hauls and the last move, hired a crew of 5 with a 53' truck to go one hour. This, of course is a big move with many days, and I will be returning back here in a year. How can we know it will all go? My only concern.
Yes, have one guy begging me to hire him for $1,700 and am not responding and the others from 2400 to one at 51.
I have had walk throughs from NA and Allied and they both wanted 7418 (did not know it was the same owners of both) I am leaving the fridge, washer, dryer, grill, just maybe it will work with 26. Have 4 bedrooms but two have no end tables, dressers or anything. This is a brand new year old home and I am just leaving to be near my son and grandson. So stressful! (10/21/2009)

Response: Wow. First and foremost just take a night off from the stress and relax with friends and seek wise council. It sounds like there might be other things going on that can compound the already stress laden days that lead up to the "moving nightmire". I was thinking earlier about your move over dinner. My estimation was as follows: two 26ft or one 53ft trailer would normally run 52-75 hundred. Uship prices would be cheaper. However with the last bit of information regarding what goes and stays, there is a chance this could all go if loaded high and tight. I will say this as far as your consideration for us is concerned, we have moved over 5 professional atheletes and many VIP shippers throught the years and 1st know the level of proffessionalism and integrety it takes to pull it off. Second I will put my loading abilities up to ANYONE in the business. The truth of the matter is this, when it comes to your lifes possesions going the cheapest is not always the best. Make sure you (10/21/2009)

Question: I just got an idea that you might agree with :-) Mountain Movers (10/22/2009)

Response: Good Morning, hope you had a sweet slumber. I am very redy to hit the accept bid button, just want to know wht the idea is that you think I may agree with! You have made me curious as a cat! Yes, hating to move, just bought a beautiful and I mean beautiful model home and now going to go rent a shack somewhere to be near my son and grandson and wifeuntil they come back next year, Still have not found renters for here, but working on it. They are miserable there and have just been there a few weeks with a new job my son wishes he did not take. Have an ad and pictures on craiglist I can send a link to so you can see the things to be moved, or just take pictures of all the rooms and garage and send. Anyway, Ms. Blabbermouth here, what's the idea? (10/22/2009)

Response: Hello, hope all is dandy. I hope you're not bitting your nails in curiousity over my master plan because really it's not that grand. However it would take away the burden of wondering if it will all fit. Here's the scooperoo...I will rent another truck to ensure everything will go at my expense if you can pay for the gas to Utah. I have a small load in Dallas in which I can book. My biggest concern is to make sure nothing is left behind and this would make it a for sure:-) Anyway hope to hear from ya, Mountain Movers (10/22/2009)

Response: Chris, how quickly things change. My daughter in law fell down a flight of stairs this morning and is in Moutain View Hospital with a head injury, and ankle. My son has decided they have had it there and are going to move back home. He lives in Spanish Fork, moved from a 3 bedroom apartment, sold all his Big Screen TV's, apartment was 1400 sq ft, (Not my 3400 sq ft home) and wondering if I may call upon you to move them back. Not asking for a price change, their belongings easily fit in a 26, believe me on that. Told my son about your company this morning when he was devestated with Susans injury and he wants to come home. I felt, well, am helpless, not being there. He wants a move by yesterday but told him to wait and let me contact you. You have been so kind and a blessing and life happens, am excited as all get out to stay here but not for the reasons why. The movers his new company paid for weighed their items were 6800 lbs. Please let me know, you have been and are a rare gem (10/22/2009)

Response: Oh my gosh! That is so unfortunate for you guys. You will be in my prayers and I will contact some more of my family and friends to have them be praying as well. Stay encouraged and hang in there, no matter what happens, don't give up hope. Even though the weight of circumstances is heavy, situations seem unbearable, and there are more questions than answers, stand firm on the foundation of love and all will be well. As far as the move is concerned, let me know the logistics of the move and we can accommodate it immediately. I am the owner so I have liberty to take my own crew no matter where and basically no matter when. Did he want to move this weekend? Please let me know and I will try to facilitate your needs with precision and grace! Mat grace be with you....Mountain Movers (10/22/2009)

Response:
Chris, you are far too kind, I thank you. I would say yes to the move this weekend from Spanish Fork to Lavon until he finds a new place (just moved as I told you a few weeks ago) I told him I contacted you and will get an answer to you tomorrow as to when they will be there. He is at the hospital now, then heading home to pack. I will keep in touch and give you my word, you will moving them home for me. Thank you, Chris, you are truly a Godsend. Maria (When I keep in touch, tomorrow) Sweet slumber..........ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz
(10/22/2009)

Response: Thank you Maria :-) Mountain Movers (10/23/2009)

Question: Hey Maria so glad to hear from you! I hope all is well with your daughter n law :-) I would love to accomodate your sons move and see those beautiful mountains! The pickle is this though it will cost me an extra 400 in gas to get to Utah. We might be able to work it out though. I am really wanting to meet you guys and hope this will work out somehow. Still for a company to move him it would probably cost 4100 or more. And I know for a fact we can give him the best move possible. Please let me know I might have a St.Louis move Monday. Thanks for the request I really hope we can make it happen. Mountain Movers (10/28/2009)

Response: Chris, Thank you for first responding to me and second for asking about Susan who is doing well. They have decided to stay in Utah which means I must drag my butt there. Would like to move out of Texas 11/6 or 11/7 and should have found a home in the Spanish Fork area by then. I can not wait to move until the frigid cold ( ha, ha ) Hope all is well with you and yours. Hope we do business soooon, we will have fun. Maria (10/28/2009)

Response: Awesome. I can arange it somehow someway I can't wait! (10/28/2009)

Response: Yipppppeeeee! I figured you thought I was some flake playing on uship! Too funny. Just let me know and I will have my goodies all packed up! I cannot say I am thrilled with the move, but am going to look at it like a year vacation in the mountains! Thank you, thank you, thank you! (10/28/2009)
