Questions for this shipment: 

Question: Is this all the inventory? I need to know if it would need a 20ft container or 40 ft and I can bid? If you can get by with a 20 I might be able to get close to target (5/10/2008)
Response: I'm pretty sure that I need a 40' container. I moved to California in 91' and needed a 40' container. There is an office, small file cabinets and I'm sure bits more. But nothing like a Piano, or a huge armoire. (5/10/2008)
Response: I will bid but for a reptuable full service overseas move Hawaii is much more costly than the $5500 target price fora 40 ft container all work included packing as well (5/11/2008)

Response: I do apologize I misquoted the shipment therefore I had to withdraw the bid..I was off about $2,000 on he cost..The smallest I can bid this would be $9675..I can have it shipped on your dates of choice ..please let me know and i will rebid..I do apologize but I realize I was misquoting you and did not want you to accept bid as is.. Response: Yes we do have agents there we work with in Hawaii..They do excellent nwork and will pack ,wrap,disassemble /reassemble load and unload all items.I am going to rebid $9800 and i ma 100% postive tjis covers all necessary charges..I am factoring all cost. I had to changte the bid once I checked with our agents new rates..As you sure know everything cost more than it did 4 months ago which is the last time we moved anything from Hawaii..I am rebidding teh job and it is bid as a flat rate (5/13/2008)

This is from the Jones Act passed by Congress in the '70's. You can have your vehicle shipped to Long Beach, CA from Maui. It's only approximate 80 miles from Encinitis, CA, mahalo. (5/14/2008)
