Response: Eli, Total storage space is 10x30 and 8ft high. Other shipper has calculated it as under 10,000lbs. All items are fully packed and ready to be loaded. Don't forget that I have a car and Harley that need to be transported as well. Finally, the zip is 28173... Thanks, Andy... (2/15/2009)

Response: Mark, I like your reviews and the small business approach. We have a small business and are paying for this move ourselves. Quotes from others, including big moving companies are coming in between $4500 and $8050. Things to consider for your bid: - Everything is in a storage unit 10x30x8 roughly - The storage unit can't take a semi, so we'll need to transport or have a smaller truck. Response: Thank you for noticing...I'm from a small Washington State town most my life and like to take care of one person at a time...With 10x30x8 should be more like 20,000 lbs but looks like with Motorcycle and auto now it could be done for $6,800-$7800... Have the big company's seen the load or going off 10,000lbs? Also can you list the items?? I'll place a bid if you'd like and we come to terms and schedule... Mark (2/16/2009)
Response: Mark, Your suggestion for an inventory was good. We've taken one of the spreadsheets from a big mover and filled it out. We have 101 boxes and total weight of 11,500lbs. The house is only 2000sqft and we've given quite a bit away to our kids at college. How do I send you the inventory, so you can come up with a final bid? What town in WA? Question: Hello from near Charlotte. My truck would not handle it all, but should you decide to use some sort of container for shipping and desire to hire unloading help on the Waxhaw end, I could bid on that, place a bid for the unloading labor using your current listing or if you relisted. As mentioned you may have better luck by listing the car separate so that car carriers who have room for many cars can accomodate you and save you money. Should your chosen provider not have a large enough crew on the Charlotte end for unloading, again I could bid on the unloading labor. Thanks, and you are moving to a nice area there in Waxhaw.
