Questions for this shipment:

Question: I have a 40' X 102" flatbed that would work, When are you looking to move it and what is your budget? Do you want us to get the permits? (9/6/2009)
Response: should fit fine. i am flexible on the date. just need it in san diego prior to the end of october. hopefully this will help reduce the rate. give me your quote. thanks. what permits are required? (9/7/2009)
Response: Yes the flexibility in dates helps, It will need over width permits for every state it goes though and there are lots of restrictions as for routs and only day time driving makes the trip longer, I have moved a few this wide and some states require escorts.I can check in to all the costs and give you a firm bid but just an idea you are looking at 6-8K. Thx Alex TheTransporters (9/7/2009)
Response: the boat is not wider than your flatbed so should not require speciall drive times or permits. look forward to your bid. (9/9/2009)
Response: your add says 12' wide, how wide is it on your trailer and what is the weigh of the boat and trailer? (9/9/2009)
Response: fits on a standard flat bed. (9/10/2009)
Response: ok so let me get this all verified so I can get escort and permit prices, with your trailer and the boat it will be 8' tall and 12' wide total weight is 10K and you want it moved when? (9/10/2009)
Response: we want to move it anytime before october 15th (9/16/2009)
Response: with your trailer and the boat it will be 8' tall and 12' wide total weight is 10K (9/16/2009)
Response: 12 tall and only 8 wide. drop the price please. thanks (9/16/2009)
Response: Ok, so if your boat and trailer is 12' high and you want us to put that on top of our trailer its going to be to tall, our trailer is 36" high so yours would need to be only 10', can we get the high down or do I need to get permit costs?Thx Alex (9/17/2009)
Question: I am interested in moving your boat. What kind of price range are you looking at. I ask because most people dont realize moving a OVERSIZED LOAD costs substantially more than regular freight, and it goes up the wider that it is. (9/6/2009)
Response: 3-5k. and i think it is as wide as the flat bed so no oversized load (9/9/2009)
Response: I am interested, but according to your description the boat is 12 wide. That changes the price substantially. I think 5k is a good bid at a standerd 102" wide (9/9/2009)
Response: 8 wide. weigth 5000 lbs, 12 tall. 36 long with 44 foot mast. (9/17/2009)
Question: Your listing says 12 wide or is it 8'6" wide. anything over 8'6" wide needs permits?? (9/12/2009)
Response: 8.6 wide (9/17/2009)
Question: Hello, Will there be a way to load/unload? And can we get a confirmation on the width? Thanks. (9/16/2009)
Response: yes if the flatbed has ramps. or we can find a dock ramp. it is 8 feet wide (9/16/2009)
Response: Okay, Thanks for getting back to me. (9/17/2009)
Question: Hello Shipper, I will be in the MA area this coming week and would like to know your timeframe for shipping? I will transport shipment on a flatbed, fully insured at no additional cost. Please let me know if we can go ahead and confirm this shipment before something else is booked. Thanks Phillips 4 Transporting (9/17/2009)
Response: at what cost? i am able to be there to help load on the 25th. is this within your date timeframe? if not, i may be able to make arrangements to be ready sooner. please advise. (9/17/2009)
Response: I have placed a bid for your consideration and will be in MA and can work with the pickup date of 25th. I would need to have confirmation as soon as possible to confirm because I take whatever comes first. Please let me know if this bid will work and let see if we can confirm this shipment. Thanks (9/17/2009)
Response: If you are going to be in the area the price needs to come down. (10/19/2009)
Question: Thank you for responding to my bid. What price range are you looking at? (9/17/2009)
Response: under $4500 (9/18/2009)
Response: Thank you for the response. I am booked up now for a few weeks. Good luck though. (9/18/2009)
Question: I am ready to enter a $5000 bid but first need the height of it on your trailer, my trailer is 36" high and yours can only be 10'6" on top of that (9/18/2009)
Question: Your boat is 8'6 wide, 36' long and 12' high. You state 10,000 lbs and then 5000 lbs, which is it. If it is 12' high it will be over height on most trailers, which legal height is 13'6". So your measurements are very important to place a bid. Also are you going to have lifts on both ends. Thank You, Ron (10/2/2009)
Response: it is actually 8 wide, 8 tall, 36 long (boat with a mast that totals 40 foot long. weight is 4000 lbs. sorry for the confusion. the previous info was not accurate. are you ready to haul this? also can be put on the flatbed by backing it on the ramps. (10/2/2009)
Response: We have a truck unloading in Ma Sun. It is a self load and unlaod trailer, if these measurements are accurate we can load this. We can load Sun or Mon. We could do this for 4800. Please let us know asap. Thanks Ron (10/2/2009)
Question: I see the updated specs on your boat ( 8 wide, 8 tall, 36 long (boat with a mast that totals 40 foot long. weight is 4000 lbs) is all this including the trailer its on that you want put on my flatbed? (10/3/2009)
Response: yes. all included. (10/3/2009)
Response: Ok, I will go $4500 with pick up near the end of OCT if this will work (10/3/2009)
Question: Shipper, we need to know on this, if this will not work what price range do you have in mind. (10/3/2009)
Question: Truck is empty and 100 miles from pick up. Can load first thing in the morn. Let us know. Thanks (10/4/2009)
Question: Hi, Alex with TheTransporters here, I had bid before $4500 with me hauling it on my flatbed...If you would like me to rebid let me know, I can get to it around the first week of Nov. (10/15/2009)
Response: Please bid again. We will most likely be ready to ship towards the end of next week from Boston but we may be willing to wait depending on the second leg of the transport out of Calexico/San Diego. thanks (10/15/2009)
Response: my bid is in, I have the right trailer to move it (10/16/2009)

AUTOKRAFT123 ((( AUTOKRAFT TRANSPORT ))) (10/17/2009)
Question: DO YOU STILL NEED THIS SHIPPED AND WHEN ARE YOU READY (10/18/2009)
Response: This is now ready to be shipped. Ready for pick up on Wednesday 21st or within two days of that date. (10/19/2009)
Response: WE COULD LOAD IT BETWEEN THE 26TH AND 28TH OUR BID IS STILL GOOD AUTOKRAFT123 (10/19/2009)
Question: our you ready to get it booked with us (( AUTOKRAFT TRANSPORT )) (10/20/2009)
Response: almost ready to book. I am working to confirm the second part of the journey. I will most likely confirm Wednesday morning. What is the soonest you can be there? Also after getting the boat on its trailer here are some details:The highest point on the boat is the mast in the saddle. It is 9'4" off the ground. (with the tung elevated 16"). I think we could probably easily drop the tung at least a foot and get the hight down to 8'4", if that help things. The tung of the trailer sticks out about 4' past the front of the boat, and the slide tung could be removed, reducing the length one or two feet. The mast overhangs the front by about the same as the length of the tung. I am guessing that the mast overhangs the back of the boat by 6 feet. and two of the deck panels also stick out that far. The total length of the mast is 44', and so that is the longest part of the load. (10/20/2009)
Response: sounds like it should work i will measure our trailer in the morning to make sure i will let you no. thanks (10/21/2009)
Question: yes every thing will work need to take bid by morning as i have 2 other boat that want me to place bid so they can accept. autokraft123 (10/22/2009)
Response: i amy have to switch the destination to Nogales, Arizona. How much would that reduce the rate if required? (10/22/2009)
Response: it would be $4160. (10/22/2009)
Question: ((( AUTOKRAFT TRANSPORT ))) new bid (10/22/2009)
Response: i will be able to confirm at 9am Thursday Mountain time when i speak to the second transporter who will take this the second leg south of the border. thanks talk soon (10/22/2009)
