As far as the loading of the boat is concerned, I was mentioning a boat ramp is as far as I'm trying to save on the haul out fee, but if you think its essential, then I will do that. When the boat hits Jupiter Island, can it be loaded into water via a boat ramp there rather than having it lifted into the water. This is my first time shipping this boat south so obviously Id like to have this go smoothly so Ill have comfort in doing this every year. Also, because of some of the scams I have heard about in terms of unscrupulous vendors taking off with deposits, I will give you deposit upon you meeting me to transport boat from my dock in Manasquan and balance on delivery. Response: Hi Shipper, Thanks for your response, Offloading in the water is no problem, We will need it loaded by lift though.I can appreciate your concern but, The deposit must be in the house before we roll a driver, we use to take folks on honor last year but got burned to many times. Not that I dont trust you, just want to have myself covered just in case. If that checks out then Ill book with you, Just need to confrim with you on dates also. Response: Hi Shipper, The insurance will cover up to a 100,000., If you need more than that ask your insurance company to cover above that. If you do not have any insurance on the Vessel and you need more that 100k, you can purchase an extra amount. The deposit is stated refundable on the invoice agreement. Response: Chris: Id like to hire you but need to come to confirm a couple of things: Id like to have boat delivered on Jan 3rd or 4th. Is this OK with your schedule. (how long will it take you to get from NJ to Jupiter) Also, I asked you about the loading of the boat from a boat ramp..just need to confirm if you absolutely have to have it lifted on. Reason I ask is that my marina is on vaca till the 2nd and no one is there but here is a ramp right near the marina. (12/27/2007)
