Question: Shipper, we will be heading home from Canada next week. Could pick up your boat and deliver in a few hours. We pull with a triple axle trailer and a F350 Dooley. Response: joe, this is penny(wife). The guys left last night at midnight headed your way. The proof of liability ins is in the glove box of truck ($100,000)I may have a copy at home I can fax you.Also, We usually load/unload by water or crane at a marina. We have a 36' trailer. We will have permits if needed. As soon as you accept our bid, you will get their cell phone numbers.It looks like as soon as you are ready, they will be done in Canada and waiting for your call. Question: dear customer,request for whoever moves your boat to send a copy of all oversize permits and proof of cargo insurance before transport of the vessel commences otherwise if something happens to your boat the insurance will not cover damages,just a word of caution. (6/18/2009)
Question: Joe, they are in route to Sutton now,as soon as they deliver this boat, and come back across border, (I say Sunday) they are free Monday and Tuesday. Possibly Sunday pm. if all goes smoothly.Again, once the shipment is booked, you guys can talk out details by cell phone.I really think that the timing is perfect or very close to it. Response: As long as everything works out in MD we have a deal. but I think I need to wait till Sunday to accept your bid, because if the boat is not right, and I decline to purchase it, I'm not sure how that affects an accepted bid with uship. Question: Joe, The guys are going to make a quick trip to Houston, then come back to move your boat before going to RI to bring a boat back to Dallas. The dallas trip was unexpected but he is flexible. Hopefully this will give you a little time to finalize your boat and book through u Ship so we don't have to use this as our only means of communication.
