Question: Can this boat be shiped with a diesel pickup truck? (7/24/2007)

Response: yes as long as the towing capacity is 12k or higher. A heavy duty 3/4 or 1 ton will work. (7/25/2007)

Question: Are you certain of the width? Over 102" requires oversize permits and in certain areas a pilot car is required. (7/25/2007)

Response: no pilot required for that width in colorado, wyoming or utah in the specified route by the POE. A wide-load permit is required. It is $25 (utah), $25(colorado, I think), $15 for wyoming (not a permit but a autorization #). I would be willing to reimburse for the fees of $65. Response: I could get the permits. It just has to be done in august before the 17th. But, I was hoping to be part of a backload since one-way is so expensive. What kind of a deal? or do you want a double diamond slot, poker, foosball, pool table or hot tub? That is what I sell. (7/26/2007)

Response: Good Morning! Welcome back. I am actually pulling a 5th wheel from Ut to Co. So yours will be a ball hitch pull, and I believe your trailer will have a 2 5/16 ball on it, and I am hoping it has electric brakes and not surge brakes. I would be picking it up either tues or wed. Question: Hi Tiff, Well, it looks like you arent able to get an internet connection tonight. And that has put me in a vicarious position. I have another load, a 5th wheel that another person wants delivered to Co from SLC. He has to leave Alabama tonight, and will arrive tues eve. He needs me to submit my bid tonight, so he can get on the road. So if I do that, he will accept my bid, but if I dont get things worked out with you on your boat, I would have to come back empty, and loose my butt! Or stay in Co. till I find a return load, which is too risky. So I am really between a rock and a hard spot until I hear from you. And I know your in a difficult position too, not having internet access at your fingertips! You did mention you would be returning on Sun. (Today) I am hoping you are enroute back to the states now, and I will here from you in the morning, and let me know your thoughts please, and we will take it from there. Question: OK, Hopefully you can contact them this morning. I would like to finalize this asap. Realistically you have till Wed to let them know you have someone on the way to pick up your boat. If you accept the bid, we will then have each others phone numbers, we can quit typing, and fine tune this as we go.
