I would like to have the boat moved by July 31st if possible. I am flexible on the move date. I need to transport the boat from Orange Beach, Alabama to Greers Ferry, Arkansas. The boat needs to be delivered to Lacey's Marina on Greers Ferry. Lacey's Marina has the boat lift and yard facilities required for this relocation.

Additional Information: 32 ft Wellcraft 1988 St. Tropez with cradle. Radar arch does not need to be dis-assembled for bridge clearance purposes. This boat was previously transported from Ohio to Alabama in 1999 without any special provisions.
I do not have a trailer for this boat. I do have a metal cradle that is used for ground storage of the boat. Report a Violation

Question: We have a brand new 35 foot flatbed if you have crates and ability to have unloaded and loaded. Let us know and we will work a price with permits included as this is a wide load. (6/21/2006)
Response: Dale, I have a two piece metal (angle iron) cradle that we could use to support the boat. I believe that they would be sturdy enough for the transport. I can arrange to be personally at the origin to assure we have a good, safe load. I know that I can arrange for a crane at the origin, I'm not sure at the destination. Let's assume that I can get a crane to unload at the destination. Please send me your quote assuming the above. (6/21/2006)

Response: This boat has twin inboards. There is a ramp at Eden Isle Marina. I did find another marina (Lacey's) farther up the lake that has boat lift capability if we need it. (6/30/2006)

Response: Tim, I do want to move the boat to Arkansas in July. I need to get down to Orange Beach, AL and to move the boat to a marina that has a lift. Where I have it there is no boat lift or ramp. I have a friend (John) that I am going to contact today to help arrange the move. I really want to be in Alabama when you load the boat, if possible. My friend John knows the boat well, so he could sub for me. I need to have the boat delivered to Lacey's Marina in Greers Ferry, AR. We will need to coordinate the delivery with the owner (Joe Lacey) of the Marina so we can get the cranne scheduled. I think the boat cradle I have could be used on your rig to help secure it for the trip. I am ok with your quote of $1350. Are you insured and/or bonded? Are you a licensed over the road driver? Response: Tim, Ok, here is what I need from a timing standpoint. I am going to get the boat ready for transport this coming weekend in Alabama. I will provide you the exact location and contact names / numbers for pickup. It will be in the Gulf Shores area.
