Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Is the weight right? Or are these big square bales? thanks Shotgun (2/10/2009)
Response:
I doubt it! (2/10/2009)
Response:
How big of trailer do you need to haul your hay? (2/10/2009)
Response:
no clue 300 sq bales (2/10/2009)
Response:
Thank You (2/10/2009)
Question:
Are you only wanting semi's? (2/10/2009)
Response:
Trailer would be fine or semi whatever is cheapest (2/10/2009)
Response:
Thanks for responding, I am willing to help transport for a fair price. My trailer can haul around 17000-19000 lbs safely, Number of bales hauled per load depends on average bale weight? This is just an estimate:If your bales weigth an average of 500-600 lbs maybe 30-40 bales @ $900/load. What kind of hay is it? Tarped or untarped? JB Truckin (2/10/2009)
Response:
That sounds fair. If my math is correct - each Square bale weights 75lbs divide that by 19,0000lbs you should be able to haul 253 bales which works for me. Do you have insurance, are you bonded etc. (2/11/2009)
Response:
I am wondering if your measurements are correct, I was thinking small square bales are like 24"x24"x48", can you check that out, I don't want to bid on something I can't do legally, if they are 24"x24"x48" I can haul 5 rows of 40 or 200 bales for $900. 5 rows of 24" tall bales would be 10' tall, there is a 10'6" tall height regulation, 10' + 2'10" trailer deck height = 12'10" which is just under the 13'6" limit. 200bales x 75lbs = 15000lbs. This would be a good scenario and a safe haul at that distance. What do you think do we have a deal? (2/11/2009)
Question:
Hello shipper. Can you come up eith a close weight for your bales? If they are small bales they are probably around 40-50#. Would love to help you out with your shipment. Thanks. (2/10/2009)
Question:
Hey there I have a 40' flatbed trailer that will be in the area in the next two weeks and can deliver for you. I can haul 20K on my trailer.I can deliver as many as we can put on for you for 1200. Please reply soon. (2/11/2009)
Response:
I have a bid for 900.00 but not a good time frme. If you will match and have all the insurance and bonds - I would like to discuss. (2/16/2009)
Question:
not a question, but most small sqr.hay is 16 to 18 inch thick, 20 inch wide & 38 to 48 inch long and can wieght up 80 pounds, according what type of hay bremuda about 65, prarie 70-75 ect. (2/12/2009)
Response:
You are correct the bales weigh 75 to 80 pounds (2/13/2009)
Question:
I have made a bid, it is contingent on you loading/unloading, 200-250 bales depending on keeping the load a legal size for transport, no tarps. After you accept the bid we can work out the details over the phone. Thanks for your consideration, JB Truckin (2/13/2009)
Response:
JB I responded on another email. I must get a min of 250 bales for that price (2/13/2009)
Response:
ok (2/13/2009)
