Thank you for the bid request, however I am going East on this trip out. I will watch the listing and if I can get on the way back I will place a bid for you. Good luck and best regards, KevinReport a Violation
Response: Thanks Kevin I'm having a challenge finding someone to bring this mast to us. We need it to continue our teaching local youth alternative pastimes.6/30/2011Report a Violation
Response: Yes it is not the usual type of item that we see on here very often. You may want to make it clearer that it is not a boat and just the mast. I see that several of those who have written you think it's the whole boat. You also want to mention in the listing that it is for a youth program. If I think of anything else that might help I will write back to you. good Luck, Kevin Gassaway6/30/2011Report a Violation

Question:
6/30/2011
Thanks for bid request, but I can't give you honest bid not knowing what I have to transport. I understand it is 30' total length sailboat. Is it on the trailer? How wide and tall it will be on the trailer?Report a Violation
Response: No sailboat to ship here. ONLY the aluminum mast all padded and wrapped up ready for shipping. The whole package is 100 pounds. It's a replacement mast for the boat we use to help underprivledged youth have alternative activities. 30 feet loog, very NARROW 6.5" inches by 4.5" inches for the length of the (Oval Shaped) mast. At the top theres a small thin "Crane" piece. A smal metal mast head; that arranges the pullys for the halyard lines. That enable us to hoist the sails up the mast. This small thin masthead is sandwhiched between 2 12" X 12" 1/4 inch plywood pieces. to protect it from damage. Thats it. no boat no trailer. Just a long aluiminum spar needing a gental ride to our Orgeon boat from Oklahoma. Anyway you could help would be very much apprecieated, and paid for.6/30/2011Report a Violation

Response: Oh yes it shoud be fine on a roof rack. if i could make the trip thats how I would bring it back...7/1/2011Report a Violation

Thank you for the bid request. How soon do you absolutely have to have this mast? Is this for any kind of verifiable charity? If so you can list this as charitable and there won't be any fees, and you will most likely get better bids. We discount charitable moves all the time. Thanks, Chris at Texas Wheel and Wake (Winterhawk1)Report a Violation
Response: Not a charity here, just good neighbors helping local kids...Not a tax deduction in any way what so ever. Not a non profit either. 7/1/2011Report a Violation

thanks for the bid request. We won't be in OK until Aug. Current trip to CA and AZ starts Monday. Wish we could help since we're "in your neighborhood" for delivery.Report a Violation

Question:
7/5/2011
What is the exact lenth?Report a Violation
Response: According to seller. This 30' MAST' I need shipped is; 6.5" inches long, by 4.5" inches wide, by 360" (or 30')high (Tall). I was notified it has a total weight of 80 pounds. With the shipping packaging & covering, and all. I added 20 pounds to the description, taking my item listed to the 100 pounds I have described in the listing. However, I would venture that a plus or minus 20 pounds & or, a + or - 6.0" inches would keep us in a safe reasonable range for computing shipping chgs.He has stated that he secured the fragile parts within the mast & that he has wrapped it up in plastic, and cardboard to protect it during transport. It should be completly contained as a single item, ready for shipping right now. It is on a trailer waiting for date & time to load it. He will load the item up into or on to whatever vehichle comes to pick it up. I will do the same at the other end. Driver only needs to drive this gravy load. :) best regards, Al7/5/2011Report a Violation
