Questions for this shipment:

Question: Sorry, not a sailor...mast folds down, eh? Height will go under bridges, etc.? (11/20/2006)
Response: Yes, I believe the whole thing is 12' high on the trailer, will know for sure in a couple weeks (11/21/2006)
Question: I am sorry but the stupidity has by far exceeded uship limits. It is bad enough these guys running illegal loads but now I have to share the road with this idiot hauling wideload,no permits,10,000 lbs. on a class 3 hitch with a SUV with a hemi.I witnessed this on my way down to FL last week. The SUV was lying across I 95 with trailer blocking 3 lanes of traffic. These guys claim they have insurance.By all means call my bluff call your insurance Co. and ask them if your boat would be covered in this scenario. With out a motor carrier number you are illegal.DOT numbers covers you in state, and half of these uship guys dont even have that.IF WHAT I HAVE SAID HERE OFFENDS YOU THEN YOU ARE PROBABLY RUNNING ILLEGAL.I think I speak for all other legal boat haulers on this matter. We pay to be legal only to be under bid illegally. (11/23/2006)
Question: I haul legal, but i also know that just because you have numbers and permits does not make you a better driver, or does not ensure you will please the customer when the transaction is complete. In the end the customer will be the one to decide if we stay in buisness or not. All we can do is stay competitive in price and go the extra mile for our customers. If we can't do that then we need to step aside, not get mad and act as unprofessional as possible. I think we all know better. Uship is a place to conduct buisness not a place to be rude and bad mouth others. Not only does that make it uncomfortable to those of us trying to get buisness it makes it uncomfortable for those trying trying to get their items shipped, and without them we do not make money.
