Questions for this shipment:
Question:
You can't take a boat that wide up hwy 1. (12/12/2006)
Response:
Sorry, the boat is 9'6"... (12/14/2006)
Question:
I THINK U NEED 2 CK.YOUR SPECS---19' HIGH IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TRUCK ON ANY FREEWAY---AND 10' WIDE --MEANS A PILOT TRUCK NEEDED--AND PERMITS/AND WEIGHT DOESN'T SOUND RIGHT----I DELIVERED A 28' GRADY TO CATALINS--9'WIDE/19K LBS.10'7 HIGH--------- (12/14/2006)
Response:
Yes, my bad, I didn't have my specs and my husband was traveling...he knows this by heart. It is 9'6" wide and 10' high...he would prefer a ramp entry vs. a lift as the lift in Bodega is broken. (12/14/2006)
Question:
It is an oversized load and I'm sure that hwy 1 is restricted. You would have to check with caltrans. If you take it on hwy 1 and it's not allowed, huge fine!! I don't transport, just putting in my 2cents. (12/14/2006)
Question:
have called 3 places, can't get a trailer to load------if u find a trailer down there in the area of boat,i will bring back for $1500.oo,then the question of returning trailer---another smaller cost-------if u want a large flatbed truck,u will pay load and unload fees plus skid --would be alot more than 1500.----then there is the backhaul factor---if u give enough time for shipper to get a haul toooo oxnard--then your price becomes cheaper:--duche/ghosthaulers/sf (12/15/2006)
