Additional Information: We would like bids to transport 3 cabins from Estes Park, Colorado to Hartsel, Colorado. Approx. 175 mile transport. They appear to be on blocks. Approx size is 21 feet by 25 feet. I really have no idea of weight. They are pretty much just stripped down shells. We need them loaded, transported and then unloaded at destination... Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello, I move houses kinda like these not quite as wide. I can move these for you. What type of time frame? Have these been braced and re-enforced? So I understand you want a bid to load, haul, and unload? With the width this requires police escorts ALL the way? This will be a long trip...Thank you. Mike..Bowers Trucking SINCE 1976 (11/6/2009)
Response: Mike, They have not been braced. They may not be as big as I have indicated. I'll have exacts tomorrow. Can you ballpark me on the cost to have these moved? Thanks! (11/6/2009)
Response: This isn't a move you just through a number on. Even if there under 16' they need two pilots and escorts on surface streets. This move is going to be spendy. I couldn't even guess with out the proper dims. I think I know the cheapest way to do this. Let me think about this and look at some routes. These will take about a week each truck. They won't let these travel together. Let me know when you get the dims and I'll find the cheapest way to move these. Mike (11/6/2009)
Question: Hello, Are you still wanting these moved? The cheapest way to do these is to have them jacked-up, blocked, and cut in half. Then have the half shored up for transport. Then your looking at about $2000 each half. Thank you. Mike..Bowers Trucking SINCE 1976 (11/9/2009)
