Response: Your prompt reply is welcomed ... FYI - as per uShip rules, bid rated all inclusive per posting info: “Business to Residential” with liftgate service for both ... Shipper (consignor) to load palletized item(s) onto liftgate & Consignee to unload same from liftgate ... each item to be secured to a pallet or skid & must be within the footprint thereof with no overhang ... carrier / driver must be able to handle with pallet jack ... Do you have any questions or require rate and/or service clarification?? ... If so, then please ask before accepting ... THX (5/15/2008)
Response: A couple things : 1. I suspect the equipment MAY be outside the pallet footprint. Is that a problem? 2. I suspect the Consignor and the Consignee MAY need your asstance getting the items on to/off of the liftgate. Is that a problem? 3. Historically, I have paid between $100 and $125 per machine for transportation of 1000 miles or less ... which is the case here. Due to fuel costs, I anticipate paying more this time around ... maybe $150 per machine. Can you do the job for $450? Thanks again! Tom (5/16/2008)
