My wife travels to Terre Haute from Elizabethtown Kentucky the first saturday of every month. I sometimes do driveaway service (car jockeying). If you have (or could put) insurance on the one that runs and if it has a current plate (or you'd be willing to get a temporary plate) I could drive it to you and my wife could drive me back home on her return trip March 3rd. If the one that doesn't run has a solid bumper and you wouldn't mind 4 holes being drilled in the bumper 5/8 inch round I could tow one hearse with the other with a tow bar. In the past people that I have done this for have covered the holes with organization stickers ( AAA.,State Farm Insurance, N.R.A. etc.). I would need to know the Year and make of the Hearse that runs to figure the fuel consumption ( www.fueleconomy.gov ). I also might be open to driveing or towing the other one on April 7th.

Response: Not really something I am interested in. I would drive the running one myself but it has engine issues and I don't want to risk damaging it with the 3 hour trip. I really only trust it running long enough to get on and off of a trailer. Thanks though!

When is the vehicle(s) ready for pick-up and do you have a set budget for the transport? We'll work with your schedule and within your budget if at all possible. Montway is here to help! Once you accept our bid - LIVE dispatch coordinators are available MO-FR from 8am - 6pm CST to answer your question(s) on the phone and almost 24 hours via Uships Q&A system. Montway Auto Transport

Response: The vehicles don't have to be picked up at any certain time, just within the next month. I have been telling everyone that if there is a day where you are empty that would be cheaper, I am all for it! I don't want to go nearly as much as your bid, sorry.
2/9/2012
Response: : OK. How much is your budget? Montway Auto Transport.
2/9/2012
Response: I got a quote so far for $700 to move all 3. I would like to beat that. I got a quote so far for $700 to move all 3. I would like to beat that.

If agreed upon I will place my bid through uShip® for your acceptance but "asking questions" allows me to negotiate more deals without locking me into expiration dates thus allowing me to be competitive.

$1,000,000. General Liability Policy w/ Care, Custody, Control

$1,000,000. Workers Compensation
$100,000. Bond
UPDATE: We have a 53' three car trailer and can offer a $600 delivery if confirmed within 24 hours. jh

Response: If you could do it for $500, we can have a deal!
2/9/2012
Response: : I entered the bid at $500 so we have a deal. Thank you for your business. jh
2/9/2012
Response: When can you to the pickup and delivery? Will they be the same day? And your bid shows $590, not $500...
2/10/2012
Response: : We are based thirty minutes from vehicles so my offer was $600 and you countered with $500 and we have a deal; we accepted. We summited our bid as you countered at $500; the other amount is to uShip® and we have no control over their fees.
We are capable of loading all three vehicles on one trailer and delivering the same day if they are ready when we arrive. Thank you for your business. jh
2/10/2012
Response: Okay great. When would you like to set up a time to meet to load them? If you would prefer, you can talk to me at [phone number removed.]
2/10/2012
Response: : Hello Shipper,
The auction ended before I returned to see your response so I will renew my bid for your acceptance.
2/10/2012
Response: Im going to accept in the morning. I got to deposit before i can cover the uship few.
2/10/2012
would you be willing to do 3 seperate trips for the 3 cars? i only have a single car trailer but would love to gain your business.

Response: If the price is right, I am for any way to go them back. I have a $550 offer right now, looking to get the beat.
2/9/2012
Response: : i could do 600 but not 550
2/9/2012
Response: Go ahead and place your bid and we may do business! The bid I accepted was declined because the guy wouldn't make the movement, If you would still do it for $600 we could have a deal. I put a $100 booking deposit on the bid that I accepted that I can use on another shipment. If you could include a deposit in your bid, that would be great!

Hi, my husband is going to ky. In a few days. I think he would have to make a couple trips but we can beat these bids. Thanks, brooke....bid is under brad1949

Response: Would he be using a trailer because the cars are driving safe. Feel free to place a bid!
2/27/2012
Response: : Yeah, trailer but he has another guy, so maybe they could get all 3 in one shot. I'll as him and let you know asap
2/27/2012
Response: Okay great. Two are in one spot and another is 16 miles away. When does he think he can do it? Okay great. Two are in one spot and another is 16 miles away. When does he think he can do it?
2/27/2012
Response: : He's leaving the U.P. on thurs. So I'm going to say Fri. To be safe
2/27/2012
Hi, I just talked to Brad. His trailer is 36' so he would haul 1, have Steve drive 1, then go back for the 3rd. Thanks, Brooke

Response: I've never driven any of them and they have no plates or insurance so it may be risky to drive one. I would hate to create any liability or damage because they haven't been driven in a year or more by the previous owner. One has a popped freeze plug, one a leaky intake gasket and one a blown head gasket. Two could run for getting on a trailer but it would be risky to drive any of them 3 hours....
Also, I have the keys in Linton IN and the cars all have dead batteries. If we do it, will they be able to start them to get them on the trailer with dead batteries and do I need to be there or can I meet them somewhere to drop off the keys.
2/27/2012
Response: : I must have misunderstood, I thought you said they could be driven. But, he will need the keys and since he will be inKY. Already, you'll need to get them there.
2/27/2012
Response: Im sorry about that, I just meant two could be driven onto a trailer. So if you can still do it knowing that, i will more than likely accept the bid tonight. Do you know what day and time roughly i would be able to meet him? Have to work out my schedule.
Also, if you cant it is fine but is there any way that you could put a $100 booking deposit on your bid? I was using another shipper that required one and i cant get it refunded, just add to a future shipment and i would love yo apply that vs losing that part of my money.
2/27/2012
Response: : Friday early afternoon-ish. Sorry, we can't do the deposit because we need 10 feedback and we only have 5. Feel free to check them out!
2/27/2012
Response: Okay great! It's not a big thing but how long will you think it will take to get all 3 up since it's gonna be a multitrip thing. The guy I bought them from is on me to get them moved so I just need to let him know.
2/27/2012
Response: : Should be done by that night...probably late, if there's no problems
2/27/2012
Response: That would be amazing!!! Unless there is a lower bidder, I plan to accept your bid by noon tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. I will likely call you then to make arrangements, but just want to ensure that you are still able to make the move on Friday?
2/27/2012
Response: : Yes, I'm leaving my houe late tonight-early morning with a load going down there. If I don't finish moving all 3 by Fri. Night, they will all be moved Sat. a.m.
2/29/2012
Response: Okay great! I look forward to doing business with you.
2/29/2012
We have a rollback dropping cars in Louisville every day and could bring one back back with us over a three day period. We're just starting with u-ship, (see our profile) and let us know if this will work. Thanks.

Response: This could very much work! I need them here as soon as possible, Saturday (3/3) the latest. If you could beat the low bid now I may be interested. Also, if you could include a $100 shipping deposit in your bid, it would be appreciated since I have credit for a shipping deposit in my uship account that I would like to not go to waste.
2/27/2012
Response: : I'm not sure how the shipping deposit works, so I'll research it and let you know. Thanks.
2/27/2012
Response: Thanks! Look forward to getting your bid! I need to make a decision soon so I hope you can place a bid! If you can't make I bid, I understand but I just wanted to let you know that I don't need a deposit anymore because uship refunded me. Also, I am accepting my current bid by noon Wednesdays, so if you do plan to bid, just wanted to let you know that you are welcome to!
