Thank you for the bid. You have good references.
1. Since we have to load the trailer- is there a ramp or lift?
2. How much notice would you give us for the pick up- since we would have to get the material down the elevator for you? We have jobs.
3. Would you be coordinating this pick up and delivery with other jobs?
3. After pick up how long would it be before delivery- I would have to be in NC for the unloading.
I will load if you get it downstairs. I have a hand truck and dolly which will help. I will be in the city on Tue and Wed of next week. Right now I am thinking Wed., and it would be picked up during the day for this rate. For a little more if you can get the keys to the manager of the place I will wrap and load it. +85

Sorry I didn't email earlier- had an emergency at work.
Are you still planning to be in New York by Tues. or Weds? I have to do this by February 29th. Tues. afternoon I have interns who could help me. I will have to figure out what to do on Weds. (would it be am or pm)?
Is there a ramp for the trailer?
The cabinet units are big and heavy . I have Forearm Forklift Moving Straps and have moved the units up to a third floor walk up before. But a ramp with the units on a dolly is easier.
Also we are having second thought about the 96" long couch- it might be too large for NC- could I substitute a 36" x 36" top with post base (much lighter and smaller) and a roll of wool fabric.
I saw in your comments this morning that you had a load cancelled because the weight was too heavy. Are you scheduled to take other heavy items down south?

No problem on the switch for the couch. I can ne thete on Tue. Would be later in the day. I have to get my city stuff off to have the room. Trailer has a ramp so loading should pretty easy. I will strap those babies in and they will arrive safe and sound. Let me know if this works, Tue is looking like a crazy busy day so if you want it done I will have to juggle a stop or two around. Hi again. I cannot do a exact time pickup, things just are too crazy traffic wise in the city. Tue. afternoon works for me, but for this price would have to have the load help. Wed is too late for me for sure.

I don't like to add stress to projects. If we could do very early am on Weds (they open at 7:00am) or late (but it will be dark) and you help me since I have no interns I can do Weds. I will go over to storage and see how late we could do Tues (but it will be dark)
Just looked at weather report. I have plastic and loading area is 10' from doors - but rain is a not great.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, high near 50.
Tuesday Night: A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, low around 40. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

OK my interns are around 12:30-4:30 ( it is their first day so maybe I can have them stay late). Tuesday afternoon is the day.
I know the traffic is an issue (my experience is after 3:00pm it slows down). Would you call one hour as your leaving Manhattan 9if that is were you are)- we are in Flushing off Northern Bldv. (next to grand central parkway/ 678 and then we could go over and move the items downstairs.

I was trying to find out from manufacture but didn't answer me. I'm thinking 100lbs-150lbs per cabinet.- since they are steel and wood and a refrigerator is about 350lbs. t couch is 100lbs but we are not sending. table and fabric stuff 50lbs.

You need references, please supply via Uship rules. Payment can't be at pick up but after delivery. Proof of insurance and license numbers.
Sorry about not having enough of our information up on the Uship site yet. We just stater through this site to help expand our business relations. Our information, insurance, and references will all be post on site by Monday afternoon. As for the payment upon delivery is not a problem we here to accommodate our customers as much as we can.
