Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi, what are your target moving dates ? Thanks, 1stMoving (1/18/2009)
Response: I would like to move in early to mid March. Thank you for asking! dcnetwalker (1/18/2009)
Question: Hi, please send me the list of the items, Thanks. (1/18/2009)
Response: We may sell some pieces of furniture before we move. At most we will move the following major items: 1 queen size mattress set and frame 1 full size mattress set 1 kid mattress set and frame 1 dresser 1 nightstand 2 sofas 1 dinning table 6 chairs 1 ottoman 1 TV stand 1 coffee table 1 bookcase Other home appliances such as vacuum and fans. Thank you for asking! dcnetwalker (1/18/2009)
Response: Hi, thanks for the response, I think you need 20' to 24' foot truck. thanks, Eli. (1/18/2009)
Question: Could you commit to a fixed space on a truck in lieu of giving a list of items? It is impossible otherwise to bid. I pack tight and use every space while protecting all. (1/18/2009)
Response: I would like to do so as long as my items can be shipped. Do you have an idea how big space these will occupy. dcnetwalker (1/18/2009)
Response: The truck rental companies said that a 26ft truck is enough for a 4 bedroom. The problem is that some people are collectors and have yard equipment, garages full of tools and a house chocked with things. Without information it is hard to get an idea. Does your furniture come apart? Do you have Costco patio furniture? (tend to be bulky). When do you need to move? I have a load going from CA to TX and then NY (1/18/2009)
Response: I will move from a townhouse to an apartment and give away most, if not all, of my tools. I do not have any furniture from Costco. :) dcnetwalker (1/18/2009)
Response: Don't leave tools behind! I realy can fit a lot in a truck. I could bring your car also. I am concerned about the price of fuel in March it is going up again. When will you be ready to make a comitment? (1/18/2009)
Response: I will rent an apartment near San Jose/ Silicon Valley in mid-February. By then I can finalize the contract and we can start packing. Thank you for asking. dcnetwalker (1/18/2009)
Response: Thanks for your response. Do you have pets to move? Are you going to make changes on the listed items? Thanks. (1/19/2009)
Response: I do not have any pets. I only list big items. Other stuffs like fans, books and kitchen utensils should be able to fit into boxes. Thanks! (1/19/2009)
Response: Thanks for your response. YOu have many bids. I have to leave my place open until a bid is accepted so I will wait unti you get closer and can accept. Beware of bids that come low and later change if you forget to add something. (1/19/2009)
Question: You will also recieve the full 26 ft truck. for your move....no need to sell or discard any items.. we will make them fit on the truck... the same 26 ft truck moved a 2800 sq ft house plus a 10 x 15 storage from calif to tenn. around 12,000 lbs or 1700 cubic ft. Thomas, Ga Mountain Movers (1/18/2009)
Question: Hi, For that list of items i can do $2,800 (no the car) delivery 3-13 days please check my profile and let me know thanks, Eli. (1/18/2009)
Question: We performed a similar job to your's listed on our profile page http://www.uship.com/profile/SAGindustries/ left by "craigdyson" posted 12/28/2008. It was a 4BR home and a minivan which went 2500 miles for $6,500. We took it altogether in one trailer without incident. Your job would be similar in scope as a 3BR home and a Honda going 2670 miles. We will not be the cheapest bid you get on Uship, but you will hire a company that is licensed by the federal government to move both household goods and automobiles and a company that has a proven track record of doing whatever it takes to keep the customer happy. We cannot promise that everything would go perfectly, but we can promise we would be responsible and make right with you anything that may go wrong. We would move all your household goods and the Honda in one trailer directly to the destination and they would be insured up to $100k at no additional cost to you. With that said, can we count on this job if we can come to terms? ~SAG~ (1/18/2009)
Question: hi: can you give the estimate date for pick up and delivery? thanks (1/18/2009)
Response: Pickup day is around March 1st. (1/19/2009)
Response: thanks (1/19/2009)
Question: i can do the household and car at the same time for 3250.00. (1/19/2009)
Response: Hi, WU1CKSH1P: I found the apartment we are going to move in and will accept a bid shortly. The apartment is located in Los Altos, CA 94024. Is that OK for you? Thanks! (2/9/2009)
Response: Not a problem! I will talk to you when you accept. (2/9/2009)
Question: Hello Shipper. Did you have any specific dates in mind for this shipment? Thanks, KW (1/20/2009)
Response: Around March 1st. Thanks! (1/20/2009)
Question: We specialize in large long-distance household moves and would like to accommodate you in your move. We have licensing given by the federal government to move household goods within 48 states. Please see our Uship profile at http://www.uship.com/profile/SAGindustries/ to view other large jobs like yours that we have completed along with the customers' testimonies as to their experience with our company and their level of satisfaction. The last larger long-distance move we completed is listed on our profile page left by "craigdyson" posted 12/28/2008 and that job was a large 4-bedroom home and a minivan which went 2500 miles. We took it all together in one trailer without incident. We would like to work towards an agreement with you and hope to hear from you soon. Thank you for your time. Can we count on this job if we can come to terms? ~SAG Industries Inc~ (1/28/2009)
Response: sounds great! how much do you want to charge us? (1/28/2009)
Response: Thank you for your response. We need some time to determine a price. If you do not hear back from us within 5 days, please e-mail us for a status update. ~SAG Industries Inc~ (1/28/2009)
Question: Hello Shipper. Did you have any specific dates in mind for this shipment? Thanks, KW (1/28/2009)
Response: Hello landlift, I would like to ship it around March 1st. Thanks. (1/28/2009)
Question: We do not place an official bid until we have had a chance to work out important details with the customer to determine the job is a good fit for both you and our company—household moves are big jobs that require careful planning and care. Can you tell us what kind of service you are looking for and tell us what we could do as a company to make your move as painless as possible. Usually, we come to the home the day before we load the cargo to prep it or wrap and protect it. Then, the following day we return to load all items in the trailer. From this point we drive the items keeping excellent communication by giving you progress reports daily. On arrival, after giving you at least a day's notice, we unload, position each item in the home where you desire it be put, assemble anything disassembled, and clean up. Payment is not due until we complete the job on delivery. What can we do from this point to earn this job? We would like to earn your positive feedback on Uship. ~SAG Industries (2/1/2009)
Question: Hello. We wanted to check back in with you to see if you are getting closer to making a final decision on whom you will hire to perform your move. We will not be the cheapest bid you get on Uship, but you will hire a company that is licensed by the federal government to move household goods and a company that has a proven track record of doing whatever it takes to keep the customer happy. We cannot promise that everything would go perfectly, but we can promise we would be responsible and make right with you anything that may go wrong. We would move all your household goods in one trailer directly to the destination and they would be insured up to $100,000.00 at no additional cost to you. Can we count on this job if we can come to terms? Thanks, Jerry ~SAG~ (2/8/2009)
