Question: One area we would like to bring to your attention is that Uship has now added a helpful feature that protects the shipper. This feature allows you to click on the service provider's screen name, opening their profile page. On the provider's profile page you should see an MC number, all legal carriers are granted an MC number. If an MC number is not present on the profile, proceed with caution. More importantly, Uship has added protection by allowing you to click on the MC number of those who have provided one, and look at the federal public record to see if that provider's licensing is active and whether or not they have the special licensing needed to move household goods. We strongly urge you to use this wonderful feature and we applaud Uship for bringing this feature to the site; it was greatly needed. Those who haul illegally are bad for Uship, for us legal providers, and for you the shipper. We hope your move runs smoothly whether you hire us or not. Thank you. ~SAG~ (1/15/2009)

Question: Hello. We wanted to check back in with you to see if you are getting closer to making a final decision on who you will hire to perform your move. We will not be the cheapest bid you get on Uship, but you will hire a company that is licensed by the federal government to move household goods and a company that has a proven track record of doing whatever it takes to keep the customer happy. We cannot promise that everything would go perfectly, but we can promise we would be responsible and make right with you anything that may go wrong. We would move all your household goods in one trailer directly to the destination and they would be insured up to $100,000.00 at no additional cost to you. Please visit our Uship profile by clicking on our screen name “SAGindustries” or at http://www.uship.com/profile/SAGindustries/ where you can view our licensing credentials, view other jobs we have completed, and our feedback. Can we count on this job if we can come to terms? Thanks, Jerry ~SAG~ (1/18/2009)

Question: Do you still need this move? Thanks, Brent (6/10/2009)

Response: Yes - we are evaluating the cost of it to determine if it's worth our investment. (6/10/2009)

Response: Here is my offer to you them. We are not "normal mover" but "specialty mover of pool tables by nature." I am delivering a pool table to Fort Collins, CO in the next week or so. I have a 16 ft box truck with lift gate that will be empty at this point. I can let you load it (gvwr is 14,000lbs), and pack it as full as you can. I will have 2 guys on the truck to help. I will drive it, and we can unload it at the destination for you with only a stop in Humble, TX, and Atlanta, GA....I do not know if all your items will fit, but I feel we can get the majority in my truck....total cost using my pads, shrink wrap, and no fuel surcharge, or tolls charge would be around $3000 or under....I will be there after the 16th of this month. Does that work for you? Brent (6/10/2009)

Response: This is an option I want to consider - let me talk to my husband...Would you be able to commit to a date that you would arrive? The reason I ask is that my husband might be headed there 6/17 - 6/20 and the timing would be perfect. (6/10/2009)

Response: I will be there possibly the 13-14 or maybe the 17-18th....leaving after loading with stopping in Humble, TX and stopping in Atlanta, GA....thanks, Brent (6/10/2009)

Response: It would only work 6/17 - 6/18 as my husband would be in Colorado to help load those dates - let me know. (6/11/2009)

Response: Ok, I believe those dates work for us...I will bid right now...Thanks, Brent (6/11/2009)

Response: I know you mentioned you might be back in Colorado in July and we just confirmed my husband will be there this weekend - just in case you are headed through the area and have some extra space. (6/29/2009)

Question: We could provide a 26' truck about 1300 cubes. With rising fuel and summer rates we could do this at 4000 (6/10/2009)

Response: Would you be able to do the pick-up around 6/18? As for delivery we are very flexible. (6/11/2009)

Response: Yes we can. I dont know if it wil fit, it would be close. We can keep it at orginal bid. We could deliver about 4 days later. This would be dedicated to your belongings, the whole truck. (6/11/2009)

Question: Hi shipper we answered your question we will need to know asap if you are interested thank you (6/13/2009)

Response: I just put a modified move out there - we've decided to either move a few items or nothing - too much going on to get everything ready to move, however we have a few items we'd like to have moved if the price is right. (6/14/2009)

Response: we can help you pack and get all this for you let me know if interested thank you (6/14/2009)

Response: check out my modified listing- we are hoping we can piggy back these items on another move and pay our target - we are not in a hurry for them so delivery is very flexible (6/14/2009)

Question: Am i missing something? Why are you getting such high figures. Just moving the listed items right? (6/29/2009)

Response: We revised our item list substantially - initially we were going to move a whole house (hence the high quotes) but have since revised to have the "essentials" moved and would LOVE it if we could get the done at the end of this week while my husband is back in Colorado - we might want to add a handful of boxes and a TV to the equation in lieu of the bunk bed, but that is all. However, because eventually we will need to move a bunch of add'l items when we sell our houses, we don't want to spend too much this go around, or else we'll just hold off on getting the essentials. Hope this helps - feel free to ask me any other details as I'm eager to get this to work if possible. (6/29/2009)

Response: Your target price is a little low. Our bid of 1000.00 would apply if interested. (6/29/2009)

Question: I just talked with the driver that will be in the pickup area. He is expected to be there about friday or Saturday this week. Will that work? (6/29/2009)

Response: Okay - husband will be there Friday & Saturday, we have 1 king bed matress boxspring basic frame only, patio dining table and 6 chairs, 6 piece patio set, large grill, 1 twin mattress, 1 40" flat screen TV, medium-sized armoire, 3-piece pottery barn kids kitchen set, golf clubs, 2-3 small end/coffee tables and 3-4 medium boxes - let me know if we can do it for seven to eight hund (6/30/2009)

Response: Just so you know. We go this route fairly regularly so of course we want your future business too. We aim to do this right for that future business too. Ordinarily this move would be near 1500 plus. But what the heck we are going to be there anyway and we hope for your future business hopefully. (6/30/2009)

Question: The advantage for us the driver can be there and we can give a quote for your remaining items same time. Work? (6/29/2009)

Response: Let me talk to my husband about cost - I am guessing we are still a few hundred off but let me check with him and let you know ASAP. Knowing he could assist a bit, let me know your absolute lowest price. (6/29/2009)

Response: I would be hard press to get the driver to agree to anything lower. I have other bids pending. So that bid would be my best. Hope we can do biz. (6/29/2009)

Response: I will send detailed list of exact items in a bit to see if we can get it to eight hundred and then I bet hubby will agree. (6/30/2009)

Response: how bout 800.00 then. Hubby assist loading saves us having to pay for manpower so this would be a wash for us. Should i rebid asap? (6/30/2009)

Response: Let me verify with hubby but yes he could assist with load. I forgot we will have one small file cabinet and an empty sandbox/water table to throw in. Go ahead and bid. (6/30/2009)

Response: not gonna sweat the small stuff. The driver will use best discretion to get a few other items. We aim to please. Let us know asap! He is telling me a chance it could be Sunday. Is that a problem? Is possible you can have someone release the items for you and your husband does not have to wait around just in case. This done all the time if it helps.
(6/30/2009)

Response: Hubby has to leave for airport by noon on Sunday, so would have to be early on Sunday morning. Can easily arrange to have items ready for pick-up and get the driver in, but won't be able to arrange for an "assistant" - please confirm this is okay so i can accept the bid. (6/30/2009)

Response: We will work it out. We always do! I will push driver to be there. I am sure he will if he can. Otherwise can someone else release if necessary? He will find help if needed. (6/30/2009)

Response: Yes, we can arrange for someone to release it, just not for someone to help load after first thing Sunday morning. I will go ahead and pay deposit now. Good to know that you do route regularly - we will have another big load to move once the houses sell (who knows when that might be with today's market) and will definitely use you if we are satisfied (which I'm sure we will be). (6/30/2009)

Response: We may be able to piece it out of there a partial load at a time. This will be done based on space availability for us and will not raise your price. But one step at a time. (6/30/2009)

Question: Hello, do you still need this job completed?? (9/8/2009)

Response: As long as the lease gets executed in next day or so we are planning on it - we tried to do it a few months ago and were stood up by a moving company we found through uship, so i'm a bit hesitant. However i thought i'd give it one last shot. (9/8/2009)

Response: Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of questions for you. You mentioned 1/2 of a crawl space worth of items, if your home is 3500-4500 sq. ft. that becomes alot of space. I will need a very good accounting so I can make sure I do not over book. Are the dining room chairs stackable, do the legs come off of the table and are the patio chairs stackable? Is everything packed and ready to go?Any info you can provide as to how much room your belongings will take is helpful. When do you want your items picked up? I live 3 hours away so I can pickup almost anytime. Will a truck and 40 foot trailer be able to park close to the entry doors at both locations without blocking traffic? Thanks, Ken (9/8/2009)

Response: We actually aren't moving much of anything out of the houses, it's really only the stuff in the crawl space and some limited furniture. One house has the majority of the stuff and boxes - some stuff in a small walk around attic built in the garage (so it's small) and the crawl space under the house (you can stand if you keep your head down some) but the house is about 1500 sq ft on both floors so there isn't that much - the other house has the patio furniture, kids play kitchen, king bed (not even sure we will bring armoire or bookcase I listed) the crawl space at this house is 1/4 full at most and the house is only 1900 sq ft. We had one mover come over and take a look at everything and he thought he could get it all in one load in I think a 30 ft. trailer. I don't know if the dining chairs are stackable and the patio furniture isn't really the stackable kind. You should not have a problem pulling the truck and trailer behind the houses. (9/9/2009)

Response: Hello, thanks for the bid request. If you need your items shipped the first week of Dec. I will not be able to help you. If you can wait until the 12th-13th I would be willing to talk with you about this move. I have a 40 ft. gooseneck enclosed trailer, the measurements are 32'floor,8' wide and 7'inside height. How much space do you think your items will require? I can not allot the entire trailer for the amount of money you have listed as your max. How tall are the crawl spaces? Let me know your thought on this. THanks, Ken (11/6/2009)

Question: Hi I have ben reading your communications and I understand the moving date needs to be locked in I can do the 1 December. I have a 28ft enclosed trailer blankets tie straps dollys the back door of my trailer is a low sloping ramp so its easy in and out. I will need help to load and unload for I will be by myself. I have positive feed back to view it just click on my name. The price is 2800.00 with no hidden fees. If this time frame and price work for you let me know and I will place a formal bid. Any questions just ask. Thanks Wade45 (11/7/2009)

Response: Could you lock in 11/29 of 11/30 to load? If so I think this looks like a good solution. (11/7/2009)

Response: Hi Yes I can do your dates let me know when you are ready for a bid? Wade45 (11/8/2009)

Response: Go for it, but make sure you give me your absolute best cost as I will need to get "approval" from the family since it's over our budget. (11/9/2009)

Response: OK Sounds good I am placing a bid for you now. Wade45 (11/9/2009)

Response: Just want to confirm we can load 11/29 so we can arrange to have the cleaners come 11/30. Also, want to know your flexibility with potential weather - if for example it looks like it will be impossible to move 11/29 - would you be able to potentially come 11/28? Or the other way around...As you can see from the history on this bid, we have had some pretty bad experiences... (11/9/2009)

Response: Yes I can be very flexible on the time frame. We can keep an eye on the weather and plan accordingly. I am sure it will work out just fine. Wade45 (11/9/2009)

Response: I haven't heard back from you about deposit and now realize your bid expired - wanted to talk exact logistics so I could book... (11/12/2009)

Response: Hi I will explain how uship works. Once you except my bid you will need to put a small amount down threw pay-pal then you will need to enter your contact info and address and then uship will release the info and we can call and work out all the little details. I dont require a separate deposit cash at delivery works for me. I try to keep it simple I know how stressful moving is I deal with it all the time. I hope this answers your question. Wade45 (11/12/2009)
