Response: Yes, still looking...I want a company that can provide an industrial type hand truck, and furniture pads as well. I also think that limiting the space allocated for my goods, and leaving the remainder of the truck unused, adds a higher fee than necessary for additional space. If someone was really interested they could come by and look at the items. (12/9/2007)
Question: We are licensed (most people on here are not) and insured moving company, based out of Omaha. We could get your items down to dallas, but the price would be around 2200.00 Our trucks are fully equipped with moving pads, strech wrap, and tie downs. Response: I lost alot of info moving the computer to another location and I don't remember what your bid was...I can say I'm disappointed with this uship process, or maybe it was just the bid that I accepted and then cancelled when the guy said paypay wouldn't work this close to the moving date, and then wanted me to wire him cash....Didn't get a good feeling about that..So Now I'm down to needing a load date of 1/2/08, and no relief in sight at the price I can afford, which was close with the last bid of $1800.00..Can you do anything close to that? Response: Best I can do is $2695.11. Unless you don't need labor to load and unload. The $1800 sounds like a lowball bid, but I don't know. I don't see how it would take long thru Paypal for a deposit. With us, you would be required to put $195.11 deposit at acceptance and then $1250 @ p/u and $1250 at d/o before unloading. (12/29/2007)

Question: Uhaul's largest truck is 26' and about 1550 cu. ft. Mine is 28' foot and 2196 cu. ft. I don't think your items will fit the Uhaul. (12/29/2007)
Response: We sold alot of things already...Like I said 90% is on one side of the garage with room to spare. Items still inside: washer/dryer/old coke machine/frig/4 pc ent center w/big screen tv/dining room table w/4 chairs and hutch/small kitchen table w/4 chairs and hutch/2 beds upstairs w/1 dresser/sofa/loveseat/patio table w/4 chairs/riding mower./yard tools. What's your rock bottom price as I'm going to wrap this up one way or the other today. My biggest problem is I had a knee replacement that's restricting my activity, which is why we're moving. Response: I can't guarantee a p/u by the 2nd, since I'm waiting for a Iowa shipper's cc to clear. I am trying to leave Az. by the 31st, but it may be the 2nd before I can leave here. I will, barring anything unforseen, be able to do this during the 1st week of January. I don't accept checks. If by the time I arrive at your place, the cc should have cleared, if we do this today. Response: I can't guarantee the date. If the customer's cc clears on the 31st, I will leave then for Iowa. It will take 3 days for that, then another for you, then the time to load you. We are probably talking the 4th. If it takes until the 2nd, we'd be talking the 6th. I was planning on a extra man to help drive, but I can't with the low price. Also, the cc must be paid on acceptance of bid, it needs to clear, before I arrive. You cna put it all on the cc, or 1/2 and balance on delivery before unload in cash. (12/29/2007)

Question: Now I'm confused. By doing cash at the p/u do you mean all of it or 1/2? If 1/2, then the d/o would need to be in cash also.Is this agreeable? If you want to use 1/2 on a cc, that must be paid on acceptance of bid, so I can clear in time. As I said I have to go to IA 1st to unload, before I can p/u yours. Question: Just a suggestion. Place a order for the 26' Uhaul for the 2nd. And set up moves. If by the 31st I don't have the credit card cleared, you'll still be able to do the move in time.
