Response: Ok... I am departing for my next trip on 5/31 and returning on 6/14. I will place a bid so that you have an idea of what this might cost. My rates are very straight forward. From $200-250 a linear foot in the truck. If you need packing then the higher number applies. So for instance if you need 13' of truck space the rate would be $2600-$3250. Question: I know that you are new to this site and we will try our best to make it as easy and smooth as possible for you. One thing to look out for is to cheeck profiles to be sure that your transporters are licensed with the FMCSA. Licensed carriers have DOT#'s and MC#'s listed on their profile. (Those are the legal ones !!) (5/21/2009) If transporters go thru a weigh station and get pulled over, the motor carrier enforcement will ask for all licenses and documents. If they can't provide, they will be put out of service on the spot and the truck will be impounded. Afterwards, you may loose your goods or end up paying more than original.
