Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello, do you have loading and unloading help and can a semi get into both locations? Do you have any boxes and if so, approximately how many & what size? I have over 23 years experience and am a fully licensed and insured household goods carrier, thx Ron (11/4/2006)
Response: Hi Ron - We will have dozens of various sized boxes and 18 gallon totes. My boyfriend and I are moving from Indiana, PA. A few things need to be picked up at his place (washer, dryer, a chair, computer, a big bass cabinet, musical instruments and other boxes.) His house is on Route 956 (6th St), so there is room to pull in front of his house, but not to pull in the drive. The rest of the household goods are at my place, which is a 28 x 44 double wide in a mobile home park - I would image if they pull homes in and out of here, that a semi would make it. How long is a semi? Our destination is Riegelwood/Sandyfield, NC, which is about a 1/2 hour west of Wilmington, NC. I think the total distance is approx 600 miles. Our house there is right off of Rt 11 and there should be no problem with a semi there. Our date of move is flexible anytime between Nov 22 - 28. We would need help loading and unloading - because my boyfriend is the only definite at this point. Thanks! Jen (11/4/2006)
Question: ok price would be $2500.00 you supply your own loading/unloading help. thx ron (11/4/2006)
Question: Hello shipper.. Please read my feedback...I can do your move for you..I do the loading and unloading for 2650.00... THanks Dale (11/4/2006)
Question: HI this is Mark from weship i can get this done for you we r fully insured i have a 45ft enclosed cargo trailer we have blankets pads and dollies if u have help with loading and unloading i can get this done for $2000 but wouldnt beable to do it till after the 30th of this month if this will work let me know also check out my feedbacks its speaks for itself Thanks Mark (11/4/2006)
Question: Hi this is Mark again i would beable to pick up on or around the 22nd if thats better for u let me know Thanks Mark (11/4/2006)
Question: Hello Jen-"Toolman" here-Thanks for the bid request. This begins our 3rd straight Yr. here on uship, & My asst. & I do many whole-house moves for folks(see our reviews as "Power-providers" here on site.) We can definetly do this w/i the time frame you have indicated. We run a 26' Volvo Boxtruck w/ liftgate, & pull a 20'Enclosed trailer (tandem axle) for larger loads. So capacity-wise, we're good. We reside not far from you, & can easily do both stops. Del. can be agreed upon between us. At this time, based on your list, I'd bid this for $2,150 Insured as well. I can have three of us there the day of loading, & two at the del. Point in Acme. Let me know if interested, & we'll formally bid this right away. Thanks again! (11/5/2006)
Response: Hey Toolman - It's Jen here. As I think you can see, I've received several $2000 bids, but we feel your offer, although slightly higher will work out best for us at this point - as long as the loading and unloading is covered by you. As it turns out Aaron got called yesterday by his job in NC and has to leave here tomorrow for NC to be there for Friday, so although we still can't move into the house down there until after the 22nd - there is No Guarantee that he will be here for the pickup to help load the truck. I just want to confirm that your company can do the complete load if he can't get the time off work down in NC to be back up here in PA?!?! If that's the case, I'll accept your bid ASAP - and as you stated in the bid - we can speak and set things up. Early in the week of Nov27, like the 27 or 28 would be ideal for the pick up. Thanks!!!! Jen (11/8/2006)
Question: Is there enough room at both locations for my 24 ft hauler and pickup up? As long as this 24 ft hauler with the bed of my pickup is big enough for your move then I can give you the best price. I will help you boyfriend load/unload, I will provide a dolly and throw blankets to cover your furniture, and I am willing to transport your items at any time during Nov 22-30 at your convenience. My references are excellent and the sooner you accept my bid the sooner my hauler is confirmed for your move only. Let me know. Thanks (11/8/2006)
Response: Hi there - there should be room at both pick up locations, no problem - and at delivery also. Do you work over the weekends, specifically Thanksgiving weekend? If not, we'd have to aim for that Mon or Tues after Thanksgiving the 27th, 28th. Would you pickup in Indiana, PA and head striaght down to Riegelwood, NC? (11/8/2006)
Question: Yes I do work over the weekends even Thanksgiving and as soon as I am loaded up with your belongings I head straight to my dropoff location which is in NC. Depending on how far away it is, I have picked up early in the mornings before and delivered the same evening at the destination. Thanks for promptly responding. (11/8/2006)
Response: ok thanks. My boyfriend just found out today that he has to start his job in NC next week, so in order for him to help with loading/unloading, the move would have to be over that weekend, (Without him, that following Mon or Tues.) if you would like to make a bid. Thanks! (11/8/2006)
Question: Great, I will place a bid for that weekend (Nov. 18-19) if this is correct please accept my bid so that my 24 ft hauler is confirmed for your move only-I have other bids pending so the sooner you accept the quicker you are guaranteed our service. Thanks (11/8/2006)
Response: Im sorry, but Thanksgiving weekend is the following weekend - Sat and Sun are the 25th and the 26th. That is when we can move. We wont have closed on our house on the 18-19. Are you available the 25th and 26th? (11/8/2006)
Question: Yes-I do know that you want to move during Thanksgiving so I placed a bid giving you the option of what days you wanted-so I said in the bid anytime from Nov. 17-29-pull up my bid request and you will see that its at your convenience-I only put Nov 17-18 in case you had to change your mind on the move-Ok-good. Accepting this bid now gives you the confirmation of any of those days even Thanksgiving weekend-like I said earlier we can move you this weekend as well. Any more questions feel free to ask. Thanks (11/9/2006)
Response: Thanks for getting back to me. Thanksgiving weekend is definitely ideal for us, but now since Aaron had to leave early for NC for his job (he left today), we have no way of knowing if or when he will be able to get back up here to PA to help with the move. So, I will probably have to go with a provider that offers total loading and unlaoding of our household goods, since the probability of having Aaron to help is slim. (11/9/2006)
Question: I'm sorry-my quote includes me and anther guy- I provide the help loading/unloading-I should have put that in the quote as well-when you mentioned that your boyfriend had to leave early-I already calculated in the extra labor to complete this move. I am sorry for not being more clear. Thanks Craig (11/9/2006)
Question: Hi Jen=Sorry for the delay getting back to you. Yes, not having your boyfriend there is not a problem. I have the necessary help lined up, & we will just do it. The dates after Thanksgiving are fine-We'll work on the specifics together then. Look forward to working w/ you both. "Toolman" :) (11/10/2006)
Question: Hello Jen-Had'nt heard back from you as yet. We are finalizing plans for the last week of this month, & our bid will be expiring soon. Are we still on? Thanks! "Toolman" :) (11/11/2006)
