Question: I am considering giving you a bid but I need more information. Can you tell me when you will you be ready and your preferred dates? I could bring the van if the weight can be reduced to 4240lbs (Budget 4 wheel trailer) maybe by putting the seats and spare tire on the truck? Thanks. (5/15/2008)
Response: I'll need the move and the van in California the second week of August, but I am flexible, the goods can leave the last week of July or the first of Aug, I know it takes about 4 days, so anytime from July 28. I'll be ready to receive the goods Aug 1. Is not a problem with the seats, I can remove them and put them in the truck. (5/15/2008)

Question: I am open during late July and August. I am afraid to bid now in case fuel prices jump too much. If we could do a provision for any hikes on fuel cost base on mileage I could bid. Do you agree? Are you familiar with the paperwork you will need for customs? Will you be importing your car? Thanks. (5/16/2008)
Response: Yes, if prices go up I could pay something extra to cover the extra fuel. What is your estimate today for fuel? By the other hand I don't know the paperwork required for exports, but I'll have it ready for the move, I work for an import company here so I can find out and get it all done before you leave. Response: I tried to buy my fuel at the Flying J truck stops. See daily fuel prices here http://www.flyingj.com/fuel/diesel_CF.cfm?state=ALL Prices my change twice on a day. If you are Canadian or have a work permit, you may use form B4 with all the items that you intend to bring. You give it to Canadian customs and I bring a copy along. If you have a car then you may have to import it. You do not need a broker for household goods. I have PARS labels. You will need to confirm the information I gave you. (5/16/2008)
