Questions for this shipment:

Question: I could do it for your target, if you provide the labor. You pick the day. (7/23/2006)
Response: My target includes loading and unloading. (7/23/2006)
Question: Guess I can't help you. Sorry (7/24/2006)
Response: If I were to consider doing the labor, would you still consider? And what type of eqipment do you use OTR? (7/24/2006)
Question: Yes. 26' box truck. (7/24/2006)
Response: What yr., mk., md.? (7/24/2006)
Question: It will either be a penske truck 2004-2006, or a 24' ryder truck same years. We've been doingthis for 5+ years, licensed, and insured. Why the question? (7/24/2006)
Response: This is my home, I want to make sure eqipment is reliable and in good working codition. 24ft, will not be big enough. Are you renting the trucks or do they belong to you? (7/24/2006)
Question: For out of state we lease trucks. We find it's less expensive, and any problems are taken care of by the ompanies. The trucks I mentioned hold the same amount of items, and the weight is actually a little better in the ryder/budget trucks, because of inside dimensions. (7/24/2006)
Response: Sounds good. Are you available Sun August 13th? If so make a bid. (7/24/2006)
Question: I'll let you know later today. Your request said as soon as possible, and I was thinking by the end of this week. I'll have to call and get rates again. Thanks, Tom (7/24/2006)
Response: Thank you (7/24/2006)
Question: hello, do you have a move date? how early can you move? (7/24/2006)
Response: Between Aug. 11 and Aug. 14 (7/24/2006)
Question: If you provide for the labor I believe I can cover this for $3,600.00 Let me give you a little insight on your options. When you ask that the carrier provide for the labor. Only House Hold Goods Carriers by law can move your house. Their rates for your move would be closer to $8,000.00 than $4,000.00 If you chose to provide for the labor yourself then common carriers by law would legally be allowed to haul your shipment and could do it for alot less than HHG Carriers. Whats the difference. It comes down to liability HHG Carriers would be responsible for any damage to your furniture while they loaded it transported it and deliverd it. If the shipment was packed wrong HHG Carriers would be responsible for the damage, If something was dropped ect. (HHG Coverage is .60 cents a pound the typical house weighing 10 to 15 thousand lbs.)If you provide the labor A common carrier would basicaly be lible for theft and damage from a vehicle accident. (SCOTT) (7/26/2006)
Response: Thank you (7/26/2006)
Question: CONTINUED: A common carrier is required to carry $100,000 cargo ins. and your coverage would be "fair market value" up to $100,000 as assed by the ins. company. Coverage would not cover dropping, inproper packing ect. What I can tell you is Our company has been doing self service moves since 2002 and we have had no claims. You can verify the ins status and authority to operate by going to this GOV. website and submitting the companys MC# (Motor Carrier) http://li-public.fmcsa.dot.gov/LIVIEW/pkg_html.prc_limain Before chosing a company please verify their Status for your own protection. (SCOTT LOWCOSTMOVESCOM) (7/26/2006)
Response: How big are your trucks? (7/26/2006)
Question: How many boxes will you have besides the items you have listed? (7/26/2006)
Response: 40 (7/26/2006)
Question: If you can wait until the third or fourth week of august I can do it for your target price. (7/26/2006)
Response: I could wait. What type of equipment do you have? (7/26/2006)
Question: I hadn't heard from you since you asked I submit my bid. Do you want me to resubmit. I do require sufficient notice, so I can schedule moves. Thanks, Tom (7/26/2006)
Response: Tom, we were told our belongings will not fit into a 26ft truck. (7/26/2006)
Question: I don't know who told you that, but based on what you have listed, it should all fit. (7/26/2006)
Response: we have 2 patio sets that are bulky. (7/26/2006)
Question: Our Trucks are 53 feet long from your description you should need no more than 30 - 35 feet but I would not book any additional shipments until you were loaded. (Better To Be Safe) SCOTT LOWCOSTMOVESCOM (7/26/2006)
Response: When did you say you would be available? How long would the move take? Have you moved anyone through USHIP? Do you have any referances? (7/26/2006)
Question: According to what you have listed 31 pieces of furniture and 40 boxes. properly packed 26' should be enough. Contact Penske and tell them what you have and see what they say, and also call Budget with their 24' and ask same questions. I see others saying things in the questions, that are meant to keep you from considering others. if a 53' says this will take 35' or more, he doesn't know how to pack. I'd guess he may not be a household mover. you could also call a local company to get a estimate and ask what size truck will work. (7/26/2006)
Response: Thank you. (7/26/2006)
Question: I have a 53 foot air ride furniture trailer full ,blankets, dollies, straps. (7/26/2006)
Response: When are you available? (7/26/2006)
Question: I am delivering and picking up in New York right now. I could pick up your shipment between the August 16 and 21. (7/26/2006)
Response: Will you be interested in taking the job? (7/26/2006)
Question: Hi, My wife and I could pick up your shipment around the 8th-12th of August and deliver it straight through for your target. We have a custom set up with a 2006 Chevy Dually and 44 foot trailer with tie downs, blankets and dollies. Please check out our perfect feedback and let me know if this will work for you.I will place a formal bid now. Thanks, Mark (markwmit) (7/27/2006)
Response: Is the trailer in the picture what you will be using? (7/27/2006)
Question: Hi, We have a 44 foot enclosed trailer which is not listed in our profile because Uship does not allow us to list more than one picture. I can send you a picture of the trailer via email once you accept our bid, if you would prefer. The 44 foot trailer is low to the ground, has an 8 foot wide ramp, two air conditioning units, internal & external lights, diamond plating througout, multiple tie downs & tracks and two side doors with stairs. Please let me know if you require further information. Thanks, Mark (markwmit) (7/28/2006)
Response: Sounds good. I'm waiting for my husband to give the exact date of the move. I will know today before 2:00pm. If we can agree on a date I would like you to take the job. (7/28/2006)
