Questions for this shipment:

Question: can you give me a run down of what you have to ship. it would help me estimate the space i need in the trailer. Thank you (8/17/2006)
Response: Three bedroom house with three beds, three chests of drawers, 1 armoir, 1 medium cabinet, one small desk. Living room with couch, two side chairs, small 5ft baby grand piano (to be loaded by piano movers whom we will hire separately), coffee table, small tv table, stereo stand. Dining room table and four chairs. Garage with medium workbench, various tool boxes, tabel saw, band saw, small radial arm saw, various small tools. Garden shed with various garden hand tools, wheelbarrow, small chipper/shredder, and medium cultivator, small concrete mixer, bicycles. Hope that helps. (8/18/2006)
Question: I have a 53 foot trailer. Is there access at destination? (8/18/2006)
Response: The road to Cobb has some tight turns but we may opt to store our goods and that will be in a storage facility that I have not checked out yet -presumably it will have access. The storage facility is on HIghway 29 close to Hidden Valley and Middletown. I hope to hear today (Friday) about the access situation and will edit my post. I also have a half built 19ft wooden sail boat (very light - built using lapstrake marina ply). I was going to find a trailer to tow it up but maybe this could also go on your tailer. Light stuff could be packed on top with some padding. Dimensions of the boat are 19.5 x 6ft. (8/18/2006)
Question: With the list you provided, i would be able to do the job for $2000-$2400. We can safely move your piano if you like so you don't need to hire a secondary mover to load. You may need someone to tune it after it is dropped off. (8/18/2006)
Response: Do you have experience moving baby grand piano's (this is a small one, 5ft size). This is my wife's baby so she is concerned that it is done safely. How do you work: do you drop off a trailer, or do you do the loading as well? (8/18/2006)
Question: Did it go into the home with the legs on or off? I would prefer to do the load and unload with my helper. It would make it easier and quicker if all of your items were already packed up though. Anything needing pads and shrink wrap will be packed up by us. (8/18/2006)
Response: The legs have to come off for it to get out. What type of truck do you have - is it large enough to do this in one move? (8/18/2006)
Question: I have an F250 with a 8.5 X 20 foot enclosed cargo trailer. We will pack the bed and the trailer. I will let you decide what should or shouldnt go in the back of the truck. Anything in the bed of the truck will be fully secured with Shrink wrap and pads as well as straps. Thanks. (8/18/2006)
Response: what is the height of the trailer? There is substantial weight involved with a piano, bandsaw, tabel saw, etc. At this point I think we are concerned about the piano going in the trailer with no insurance. (8/19/2006)
Question: our plan is to put all the machines and tools in the back of the pickup. The piano will be bubble wrapped and double pad wrapped. nothing will be stacked on the piano. We will also be leaving the legs off the piano for transit. The truck and trailer have full coverage insurance. if anything were to happen on the road it would be taken care of. If you can get me an address i can come out and take a look at what we would be working with. I'm based out of Buena Park. PLease let me know. (8/19/2006)
Response: I will get back to you (8/21/2006)
Question: I placed a bid but would like to come by and see what we will be working with. please let me know. Thanks (8/21/2006)
Response: Thanks, hold on I will consider this bid along with others. (8/21/2006)
Question: Hi, My wife and I could move your shipment during on 8/28-8/29 and deliver it straight through for $1750. We have a custom enclosed 44 foot trailer with tie downs, blankets and dollies. Please check out our perfect feedback and let me know if this will work for you & I will place a formal bid. Thanks, Mark (markwmit) (8/21/2006)
Response: What is the height and width of the 44 ft trailer? We have a three bedroom house, with living room and dining room. In my garage and shed I have a bandsaw, table saw, small concrete mixer, small chipper shredder, rototiller. We have a baby grand piano and have already booked piano movers to move this onto the truck/trailer. I have a half built wooden sail boat (20ft) - built using marine ply so very light and I would like to fit this on as well. Light items can be place on the boat. If you think you can handle the volume and weight I would be very interested. And this would be to a storage facility in Middletown, CA. Would you help load? I have a helper who would help with loading and carrying, and the piano loading will be handled separately. Francois (8/21/2006)
Question: HI Francois, Our trailer is 9 foot high by 8 foot wide by 44 foot deep. It is a custom trailer with diamond plating, two air conditioning units and several tie down racks as well as an 8 foot ramp and two doors. My wife and I will be happy to help you load and unload and your boat will be no problem. However, we have a few more questions for you... (1) Where is your storage facility located? (2) Is it accessible for a 44 foot trailer? We have dealt with several moves to storage facilities where it was difficult to get in and out with our trailer. (3) Will your piano movers be available for the unloading as well? Please let us know asap and we will place a formal bid. Thanks, Mark (markwmit) (8/22/2006)
Response: I am very keen to get a formal bid from you - we have to make a decision soon and I am interested in what you have to offer. thanks Francois (8/22/2006)
Question: Hi, We need to have the following questions answered prior to placing a formal bid: (1) Where is your storage facility located? (2) Is it accessible for a 44 foot trailer? We have dealt with several moves to storage facilities where it was difficult to get in and out with our trailer. (3) Will your piano movers be available for the unloading as well? (4) How much space of our 44 foot trailer will you need? Please let us know asap and we will place a formal bid. Thanks, Mark (markwmit) (8/22/2006)
Response: Storage facility will be in Middletown/Hidden Valley Lake, which is actually closer than Cobb, CA. The facilities up there assure me they are accessible for large trailers. We will hire piano movers up there. We will probably need the whole trailer, given that my boat is 20ft long. thanks Francois (8/23/2006)
