I am still trying to figure out how to get the car there. I think the item number is pretty accurate. I am also concerned that we won't be able to move into our new place until Aug 1, and I don't want to have to unload and get storage and then move the stuff again. I need the stuff delivered as close to Aug 1 as possible.

Response: No. The pick up date is firm. We have to be out of our house by 6pm on 7/13. Then we needs to drive to WY and spend a few days finding a new place. The new place might be available ASAP or we might have to wait until 8/1. (7/8/2009)
Response: Thanks, my biggest concern is having to wait 10-15 days after pickup, if thats what it needs to be then a short term storage unit in Jackson would be the best answer.I can not afford to wait that long due to other commitments .I can meet your pickup dates but will need to know soon before I book another load. Response: The shipment needs to be held until at least July 22nd- possible until Aug 1 (depending on our move date). Does that help? I'm sorry, this is all very confusing since we don't know exactly where/when we move in. That's why we thought a UHaul would be good. But we really, really don't want to drive the UHaul.

Response: Of course. We would call you as soon as we know our move in date and exact address. Then we would hope to have it delivered with a few days- not later than Aug. 2 or 3rd. Does that make sense?

Response: The insurance I carry is cargo insurance and you are covered up to $100,000 . If I need to hold for 30 days , then there will be a fee for storage.Hopefully you will have a place locked in before that.Would pickup on the 12th or 13th. (7/8/2009)

Response: Price will not exceed bid unless you have a sizable amount more than what you have stated. If your list is pretty close than there is no worry about any extra charge, I allow some extras that are not listed due to the fact that it is hard to judge what you really have.I just dont want any big surprizes like 2 extra couches and 50 extra boxes.Will all your boxes be already packed? And how much assistance will you have in loading? If everything is ready ,it will take less than a day to load. (7/8/2009)
Response: I totally understand. I just updated my estimate load amount and listed the larger items: Large tool chest on wheels (which was listed but it really is large), possibly a canoe, small hand tools, more boxes (just in case!). My husband will be able to help load. The biggest items are the 2 mattresses, Mitre saw, tool chest, ladder leather couch, pine wardrobe and pine armoir. I just want to be as accurate a possible so there are no surprises. I'm nervous about this online process. (7/8/2009)
Response: How many shelving units and do they break down ? What size canoe? I know how you are nervous about online stuff, its the same for me since I can not see what you really have and have to go by what you have listed. Response: There are 2 shelving units that break down. We will have them ready to go. The canoe is a Discovry 158- I believe it is 16', but we are trying to sell it at our garage sale this weekend. Both in-home estimates came up with about 8200lbs or 1100ft, if that helps. Not sure about the patio furniture- would it get really dirty?
If we can do this for the price you quoted, I almost have my husband convinced.

Response: The patio furniture will only go in the bed if space is a issue, and no it will not get dirty. I can carry 1500 cubic feet.I will do for a even 3700. Where will you be keeping our things until they are delivered? Will you be removing them from the truck or will they stay on the truck?
You seem to have a lot of experience with moving vehicles, etc. How much experience do you have with 3 bdrm house moves?

Response: Yes the bid includes fuel,Your items will be unloaded in to my secure shop then reloaded and delivered to you, unless I use my other trailer ,then your items will stay on until delivered. In the last year I have moved at least 15 3 or 4 bed homes incuding my own. I do alot of 2 bed apartment move and 2 bed home moves and I will put 2 or 3 on the trailer, so your 3 bed no problem since I dont have to worry about fitting on another move. (7/8/2009)

Response: The average price is lower due to non legal haulers doing jobs on this site. Legal haulers have a more out of pocket expenses like insurance ,IFTA road tax just as a example. You can always cancel after bid is excepted and your deposit will be refunded,but please dont accept if you plan to cancel. (7/8/2009)
