Question: Hi, we can do a pickup in Lexington Park MD any day Dec. 15-29(we are local), and deliver your shipment to AZ within 5-12 days. We will professionally pack your furniture with moving blankets, we will do itemized inventory of all your goods, load, deliver your belongings to AZ, unload, unpack, re-assemble everything, what we disassemble on a pickup. Licensed, Insured, Look forward for your feedback. References available upon request. Our price is FINAL and includes everything described. No Hidden Costs. No Surprises. Please let us know if that is OK with you? Thank you, 1stMoving. (11/6/2008)

Response: Your offer is reasonable, however I have not seen any cost estimate yet. I have roughly 3000lbs of household good to be moved. I also have two vehicles which will need to be moved as well, if you offer that service as well. (11/6/2008)

Response: Thanks, for fast response. Based on the inventory provided by you, we estimate your shipment as 6000-6500 lb, we will place our bid using our measurements of your load. We are NOT transporting vehicles, I will recommend you to place a separate bid for your cars. We provide full relocation services. Thanks, 1stMoving (11/6/2008)

Response: My household in no way will be that weight. As I stated, I moved here myself with a weight of about 3500, and I have since gotten rid of some stuff. (11/7/2008)

Question: Hello, let me start by saying that I am a real provider! Please review my feedback and profile. I am able to do your move after christmas and deliver asap. I can take one car with your load. I can also arrange your shipping for the 2nd car too. My services plus one car I am at 4985.00. I ALSO WILL NOT ASK YOU TO WIRE OR SEND ME MONEY BEFORE YOUR MOVE. Make sure to ask others their payment options. 50% at pickk up 50 at delivery. (11/7/2008)

Response: Your offer is one of the best offers so far. Is the 4985 a flat rate, or will there be changed based on weight. There is also some furniture in the house that I wish to be thrown out instead of packed. (11/8/2008)

Response: It is flat rate and I do not go by weight. I am a easy guy to deal with and I keep things easy so you will have a stress free move. I have 48 feet of trailer to use to get all your items moved at one rate. I will place my bid and if you have any further questions please ask. (11/8/2008)

Response: Will my two vehicles be able to be transported? (11/8/2008)

Response: I can haul onee foe that price but let me ask you what type of vehicles are they and if possible can one driven. If one can be driven I can have my father in-law who is retired marines drive it to Az for a little more. My bid however includes one car in eenclosed. (11/8/2008)

Response: Unfortunately, by the time this move will happen, both vehicles will have expired registration. So, driving is out. I am considering the one vehicle quote you gave me, and can look at outside vehicle shippers for the second. (11/8/2008)

Response: Sounds good! I can also point you in the right direction with the auto shipping of the other car. What type of cars are they? (11/8/2008)

Response: i will be considering yours and one other company. i will be making a decision very soon. (11/8/2008)

Response: what takes 10 mins to placw a bid. Are these guys brokers? (11/8/2008)

Question: We will work out a plan of action to accommodate you. We carry $1,000,000.00 of liability insurance and insure cargo at up to $50,000.00, at no additional cost to the customer. We transport all items in a 42ft enclosed carrier that has 110v lighting, climate control, and alarm system. The trailer can hold approx. 2000 cubic ft. of cargo at up to 35,000 lbs. I am an owner of the company and would employ one other professional strong male mover to assist in loading, organizing, and unloading. We would give you a daily status updates while items are in transit, along with providing you with 24 hr business contact number. What is a price that is fair to us, yet one that you are comfortable enough with to accept our bid immediately? ~ SAG Industries Inc~ (11/7/2008)

Response: It depends on the services. I am in Afghanistan and my wife is in Arizona arranging the new home. We will need both vehicles moved. The price I am comfortable with will depend on whether the vehicle shipments are included with the offer. (11/8/2008)

Response: The trailer we would use is 42 feet so I would attempt to take both cars and your household goods if you would pay us fairly. Please understand that you would utilize all of our cargo area leaving no room for other jobs, thus no other income for 2400 miles (a long trip). We will do a good job for you and treat you fairly too. Can you give me the make and model of both vehicles so I can look up their lengths and determine if it is possible. The trailer will hold two vehicles no problem, but I need to make sure I can get all the household goods in there too. I also have a flat bed area that is not enclosed on the pulling truck that is 4ft x 8 ft if you do not mind a couple larger items waterproofed tarped and strapped to save trailer room enabling both cars to go. There is a goose area in the trailer too that enables me to get extras--it’s enclosed. Please let me know and communicate with me regularly so I know you are serious about this. We will work with you. ~SAG Industries Inc~ (11/8/2008)

Response: When I moved I used a 22'' truck that was pretty much filled. The two vehicles are:
2006 Trailblazer
2000 Maxima
This quote would include full setup and delivery correct? I am in Afghanistan and my wife is pregnant, so we will be of no help.
Please let me know the feasability and cost. (11/8/2008)

Response: Congrads on the pregnancy. My wife and I just buried a baby we lost, but thankfully we have 2 other daughters age 10 months and age 7. Also, thank you for your service in protecting us back at home, if I am assuming correctly and you are in the military. Both vehicles add up to just under 32 ft so we can swing it if we can pack the vehicles and utilize the flat bed, along with the left over trailer area. You felt the offer for one car and the household items was fair at $4985. Could you afford $6150 for both vehicles and the household goods? I figured $1165 more for taking the additional vehicle (4985 + 1165 = $6150). That is just 49 cents per mile for the additional vehicle which is less than the going rate for vehicles, but it is kind of like a discounted rate for the package. We are bound by federal law to charge a certain tariff amount for the household goods, but are free to charge whatever on the vehicles. Anyhow, if we submit a bid for $6150 will you accept it today? ~ SAG Inc~ (11/8/2008)

Response: Well, inside the house I have about 20 or so of the large blue rubbermaid tubs that we used to move here. Those are great to pack in, as it conserves cost and waste. The seats on the trailblazer can fold down, allowing about 5 or 6 tubs in the back, 2 in the front, as well as what we can shove in the car. There is a computer desk that I wish to discard, so that can be tossed in the dumpster and save space (just keep the files in it!!). I have a friend that I served with living in that area that possesses all the necessary keys, and will have the appropriate funds on hand.
Of the other offers I have received, only one car can be shipped. I have been quoted to ship the other car for less than $900. I would accept a bid of $6000 even. I understand the adjustments that may take place due to household good weight. As stated, we moved here at about 3300, but have since discarded some items.
My condolences on your loss. I cannot possible fathom losing any of mine. (11/8/2008)

Response: We will submit the bid at $6000 when we return back to the office (within 3 hours) and request that you accept it today so we can pin point our schedule for your time frame. We have no problem further discounting the vehicle transporting costs by another $150 to help a military family. My wife's father is a retired army sgt. We look forward to earning your positive feedback. Thanks, Jerry & Erin ~ SAG Industries Inc (11/8/2008)

Response: if you match the 5900 offer, I will accept. (11/8/2008)

Question: Do you have elevator to the 3rd floor? Do you want to do your own loading/unloading? I always wrap the furniture with blankets and secure the load myself regardless. Thanks. (11/7/2008)

Response: We do not have an elevator, only an exterior stairwell. Self-packing is not available, as I am in Afghanistan, and my wife is in Arizona arranging the new home. (11/8/2008)

Response: Do you have an idea of how many boxes you used last time? Do you have lots of display items that need to be carefully pack? Will you need a weight ticket? (11/8/2008)

Response: i will be considering yours and one other company. i will be making a decision very soon. (11/8/2008)

Response: I have not placed a bid yet. I am concerned about how many things need to be boxed because while I do that my truck is idle & it cost so much. (11/8/2008)

Question: We looked over your inventory list more carefully and do believe that we can get both vehicles and the household goods in one trip, and utilizing only one truck and trailer as long as the total length of both vehicles together does not exceed 32 feet. My wife and I would like to get a price worked out with you on this as soon as possible and have you accept our official bid as we are trying to get our schedule pin pointed for the next 4-8 weeks. If you click on the number next to our screen name you will see that we have moved many vehicles and household goods for Uship customers, and both together just as your job would entail. Our Uship feedback is 100%. Sincerely, Erin & Jerry ~ SAG Industries Inc~ (11/8/2008)

Response: From my perspective, everything seems good-to-go. Naturally, I have to consult the Mrs and have her do the final go ahead. We are planning on doing this move on or about 15 December. (11/8/2008)

Response: Hello,
We are now back in the office and are able to submit an official bid if you have cleared the job with your wife. We request that you extend the job to us even though the other provider changed his mind and decided he could take both vehicles for $5900. He initially said he could only do the one vehicle and only offered to take both after reading our information, after we looked up length of vehicles and created a plan of action to fit everything in one truck/trailer load. If we need to beat his price we will come down to $5899 but hope you will still honor the $6000. We will furnish your wife a gift card for a free meal at Applebee's as a token of our appreciation for the job. Please e-mail us when you read this and let us know your thoughts. We will submit the official bid once we hear back from you and know that your wife is in agreement and that you will indeed accept our bid once submitted. Thanks, Jerry & Erin ~SAG Industries Inc~
(11/8/2008)

Response: I will accept a matched offer. (11/8/2008)

Question: Never mind I see them listed in the other Q A. The nissan would be the one I could take. Is the blazer factory or lifted? (11/8/2008)

Response: i will be considering yours and one other company. i will be making a decision very soon. (11/8/2008)

Response: Hello, what is 'SAG Industries Inc" user name. I have never seen them place a acutual bid on anything here on Uship. I see alot of Q and A but no bids. Let me know because I would like to research them. (11/8/2008)

Question: Also let me what is the earliest day you can go? (11/8/2008)

Question: Good morning, If the blazer is not lifted I think I can take it to. My trailer is 48 feet long and I always haul 2 cars and I always have room left. Let me know if the blazer is stock and is the nissan a 2 door or four the same with the blazer. I thisnk 48 feet will do it and like I said I do it all load and unload stairs and all. (11/8/2008)

Response: i will be considering yours and one other company. i will be making a decision very soon. (11/8/2008)

Question: I understand that we have a severe time change difference so I will keep trying to reach you periodically. Did you receive the previous e-mails we sent to you and are we a go at the price of $6000? If so, we will submit the official bid and ask that you accept it as soon as you are able so we can then plan our schedule around this job. The pickup date you have requested will work fine for us. Thank you, Erin & Jerry ~ SAG Industries Inc~ (11/8/2008)

Response: I denied the other bid, you're cleared to bid the 5900. (11/8/2008)

Question: We will do the job for $5900 on the conditions that you accept our bid immediately, you agree to work through any problems with us that may arise to enable a happy resolution, and that you leave us prompt positive feedback upon completion to your satisfaction. Our 100% feedback on Uship is essential to our livelihood. We have worked hard to build our good reputation and want to protect it—even one negative feedback could harm our future business significantly. Considering that on this site you cannot contact the customer directly until an official bid is accepted, our feedback is really all we have to earn customers’ trust. If there is a major concern along the way please give us the opportunity to work out a solution with you, one that keeps you happy. We request that you promise not to resort to negative feedback unless we fail you in some major way, intentionally and deliberately. Can you agree to these terms? ~SAG Industries Inc~ (11/8/2008)

Response: i will accept the bid immediately, as I have already spoken the issue with my wife. I will leave positive feedback once the move is completed. I do ask for clarification on the payment process, i.e.: deposit and final payment. (11/8/2008)

Response: We will submit the bid momentarily and all of the terms we have agreed to will be formally outlined within the Uship bid contract. We do not require payment until delivery, but payment will be required immediately upon unloading on site. Most Uship customers pay us by personal check or cash, but a money order or cashier’s check is fine too. If you desire to pay by credit card we will allow this form of payment, but there will be an additional fee of 3% if this form of payment is chosen. The bank charges us 3% to process the credit card transaction so we ask you reimburse us for that loss of revenue if you must pay via credit card. Have we worked out all of the details to this point? Are you prepared now to accept our official bid if we submit it momentarily? Do you have any other questions or concerns? We do not mind answering all questions, and once you accept the bid you can call us 24/7 on our business line with additional questions or concerns. Thanks, Jerry & Erin ~SAG Industries~ (11/8/2008)

Response: i am prepared to accept the bid. FYI - your competitor just offered 5500. (11/8/2008)

Response: I appreciate your goodwill in honoring your offer with our company as we have also shown you goodwill in our willingness to work with you. We understand your free ability to accept the other provider's bid and we respect you for not doing so. We have estabished trust in one another and that is what good business is built on. Thank you, sir and I will have my wife submit the bid within the next 10 minutes. In closing, we will work very hard to keep you and your wife happy throughout the entire process and we look forward to earning your positive feedback. Considering you are overseas, we will be sure you provide you with daily status updates via e-mail for tracking of your items etc. Thank you for your time and we have accomplished a great deal. Sincerely, Jerry ~SAG Industires Inc~ (11/8/2008)

Question: We have submitted the official bid and look forward to your acceptance. Once the bid is accepted, Uship will release our offsite contact information. At that time, will send you our 24/7 business cell phone line. Feel free to call anytime with questions or concerns. We will be contacting you or your wife or the friend in charge of allowing us access to the pickup dwelling to confirm certain information, such as addresses, loading details, etc. Please expect a confirmation call in the near future. Erin will be the person contacting you. Thanks again, Jerry ~ SAG Industries Inc (11/8/2008)

Question: Will this suffice? Thanks, Jerry & Erin ~ SAG Industries Inc~ (11/9/2008)

Response: rather than bouncing money back and forth, i will just complete the transaction on the 20th. i am more comfortable doing it all at once, rather than create extra steps and becoming MORE confused on who owes what to whom! (11/9/2008)

Response: Sounds good. We will contact you on the 20th and resubmit our bid as it will be expired. Take care, and we look forward to earning your positive feedback. Thanks, Jerry ~SAG Industries Inc~ (11/9/2008)

Question: A couple of questions for you, please. 1/ Any possibility of loading before the 18th? 2/ Any possibility of loading just prior to christmas, then delivery between the holidays? I could tow your Nissan, but the other is too heavy for my car hauler. Be advised that you should carefully check the feedback of ALL bidders, for your safety. All bids on uship are to be all inclusive, unless there is a material change in the shipment details. Once you have answered the above, I will get you my best bid. Thx, Bob/Washburn moving/Newark Del. (11/19/2008)

Question: My bid is in and I can pick up when ready. let me know the earliest date that your move can go. (11/19/2008)

Response: Well, dates have changed again. We would like to arrange to have the delivery ON or AFTER 20 December. What day would you like to arrange for pickup? (11/20/2008)

Response: I would pick up on the 14th if that works for you. (11/20/2008)

Question: I can do yours, with both vehicles, but I need a load to go out there. Your original $6000, was fair, by itself, but to make a reasonable profit now @ $5500, is not enough. I see many bids, with unauthorized movers (no DOT authorization to move Household goods across state lines), But costs for legal movers is higher. I'll let you know, as soon as I have another load. Please check profiles, mine shows you how to protect yourself. (11/20/2008)

Question: Please give me the courtesy of an explanation for declining. My dates are right, price is in line, feedback excellent. "Other " does not tell me how to fix this so you will accept my bid. Thx, Bob/Washburn Moving (11/21/2008)

Response: I am looking for a mover who is able to transport BOTH vehicles. Thanks (11/21/2008)

Response: Thx for the quick response. I will arrange for that too, if you like, with another carrier. Pricing to follow. (11/21/2008)
