Question: would a straight truck with a liftgate and pallet jack work?? (4/22/2008)
Response: Thanks for the interest. In some situations it would work for us, and we already have a couple guys we work with in those situations... Right now I'm specifically looking for somebody who has the forks for deliveries over rough terrain, or where the truck has to park some distance from the shop where the product is stored. If you have a rate sheet for pallets with liftgate/jack for the metro/S MN area, feel free to stop in to a Lesco/John Deere Landscapes store and leave something with "them". If you're competitive with "their" current shippers there could be some work. Again, thanks for the interest. (4/22/2008)

Response: I just want to confirm that you can do the delivery(ies) with a piggyback forklift. We do some where a lift gate and pallet jack are enough, and some where the customer has their own forks. Right now I'm specifically looking for somebody who can offload and move the pallets over rough (not rugged) terrain, and situations where pallets may have to be placed 100-200 yards from where the truck can reach.
