Response: My Question: Hello shipper. Before I place a bid I want to tell you that I just had a load of household goods get taken to impound over not having my Dot# and Mc# active. I thought they were, but I was wrong. We got pulled over and I quickly found out that many things were not right. So anyways with that said these poor people had there things sitting in a impound yard for almost 2weeks. I had to pay a large fine and had to make sure that things were right on my end before I could get this stuff back. So before you just pick anyone, make sure they have a active Dot and Mc #. It may save you alot of pain. You can check out anyone here just by going to the safer sys web page and enter there name or Dot#. The Dot police are looking for people like myself that do not have all legal papers and #'s. This is very costly, but more costly to you if you loose your things. (4/29/2008)
