Question: When you do you need this shipped? is the trailer road worthy? and what is your target price? (5/13/2009)

Response: In a perfect world, we would like to fly to Florida late May/early June, pay for the boat and watch you hook up to it. The trailer is new and road worthy with the license plate exception (unknown). We've heard that 1400-2000 is the price that we should expect. (5/14/2009)

Response: Hi, we would like for you to give us a firm bid for picking up the boat on its trailer in western Florida and delivering it to our home in central Colorado. This will be all inclusive with all permits. Do you plan to pull the boat on our trailer, or do you plan to load the boat and trailer on your truck/trailer combination? Question: This is an oversize boat since it is over 8'6" wide. This requires permits in every state travelled thru. This a $3000 haul. (5/14/2009)

Question: Shipper, you will need "permits" in each state and the transporter is the one that gets them in each state not the owner. You have to be a legal transporter to do this as they will need to provide a USDOT# and MC# in most cases. Some states a transporter can get the permits directly and in others you have to go through a permit agency. There are seven permits that will have to be obtained, this will be more that $15 (as previously stated from another person), you can figure around $50/state, some will be less but some will be more (ones through agencies) so $50 is a good number, with that being said you would have approximately $350 in permits. With our uship booking fee that is included in our bid it is going to be more like 1.75-2.00 mile for a "Legal" and "Commercialy" (not residential insurance, as I dont care what anybody says this will not cover someone elses property if the person is getting paid to do it) Insuranced carrier.
