Question: Shipper, please see our profile, we are Dot & Mc legal to transport interstate with $100,000 specific boat ins for your protection, can add more if needed. Boats is all that we do. Shrink wrapping would have to be taking to a dealer to get done. The cost of that Iam guessing would be 300 to 500. Please advise how you would like that done. Thanks Ron (9/25/2009)

Response: Thanks for the e-mail. I will have to gather some more info on the shrink wrap issue. I thought most boat hauling transport co. would offer that service. I will have to find out what it will take to get that service done and price. I live out of state which makes things harder to organize.
Thanks. (9/25/2009)

Question: Hi we just delivered a 32' Schida boat to Havasu. We could transport your 29any time you are ready. You will need to handle the shrink wrap, we would bid at $1800. Thanks Tom and Sue (9/25/2009)

Response: Tom and Sue. Thanks for the e-mail. The shrink wrap I am not sure I could do. We live out of State and I dont know of any companies out there that would do that service? I really need at least the top half of the entire boat done. Any ideas?
Thanks. (9/25/2009)

Response: Thank you for responding, I can call some places in Parker and Havasu, Im sure there is a place to do it. They are both big boating towns. I will get back to you when I get some answers. Thanks again Tom and Sue (9/25/2009)

Response: Ok great!
Thanks for your time. (9/25/2009)

Question: Uship has good info on here what to look for in a transporter. If you go to the bottom of this page to catogories and then click on boat transport then scroll down to choosing a boat carrier. This may help you in your choice. If we can be of service please let us know. Thanks (9/25/2009)

Response: Your service looks to be very quality. Can you please give me a bid including the shrink wrap service as well.
Thanks for your time. (9/25/2009)

Response: When would pick up be avail? We can take and have shrinkwraped. I think it will be expensive in Parker or Havasu. I wanted to have boat lifted on our trailer and they wanted 500. I could take it to a boat manufacture in the Central Valley Ca. and have it done. I can find out the price tomorrow we haul a lot for them. Is your major concern the rain in Northwest? You have our bid below. Thanks Ron (9/25/2009)

Response: Ron, Pick-up is waiting on title transfer from owner to me. Bank is paid off and now waiting on title delivery. They told him end of this week or early next week for title. So when we can do the final title sign over we are ready to ship.
Price check for shrink wrap in Ca. would be great.
Yes, the rain, road dirt, etc... You can almost bet it will be raining in Oregon and Washington in October! The boat has a large driver/passenger area along with it being a mid-cabin bow rider. So it has tons of open areas. It has "no" snap in covers to protect anything open. The Gel Coat finsh on the boat is like new and I dont want any road rash doing any damage to the boat hull as well. Does your bid included everything except the shrink wrap service price?
Thanks again for your time. (9/25/2009)

Response: Yes, everything but shrink wrap. So you are thinking end of this comming week? (9/25/2009)

Response: I would hope sooner than later. I honestly dont have the exact date nailed down yet because of the title mailing time to the owner I am buying from.
I guess I also need to know when I get the title signed to me and I am ready to ship, how hard would it be for you to give me a exact shipping date and time of pick-up? Its in a locked secure storage lot that would need to be opened by either myself or a authorized person. I listed my time frame as flexable with a approx. shipping time of mid-Oct to just be on the safe side. I would rather nail down an exact date with a shipper when I get the title signed over. Which could be early next week or ? Bank is at our mercy right now. (9/25/2009)

Response: Ok, send me a email when you recieve the title and you are ready to ship Ron (9/26/2009)

Question: WE CAN DO THIS MID OCT. WE ARE BASED AT THE RIVER WE CAN HAVE IT SHRINK WRAPPED WE HAVE A PLACE HERE THAT DOES IT FOR US $2000. GETS IT DONE AND WE ARE U.S.DOT/MC LEGAL AND INSURED GO TO OUR NAME AND CHECK US OUT WE ARE RANKED HIGH IN BOATS THATS ALL WE DO (9/25/2009)

Response: Thanks for the e-mail. Are you saying its $2,000
for the shrink wrap service? or is that for the entire bid including everything to deliver including the shrink wrap.
Thanks. (9/25/2009)

Response: that is the total price pickup shrink wrap and drop off we are picking up a 42ft. fountain in CA. on the first going to maryland when we get back we can do yours (9/25/2009)

Response: when will you actually be back from the Maryland trip? How long do you think it will take you to deliver my shipment once you leave Parker? (9/26/2009)

Response: should be back oct 13or14 drop off 2or3days after pickup (9/26/2009)

Response: Thanks, I will update you as soon I get the title name transfered so that I can ship the boat in my name. We hope it is this week now.
Thanks again. (9/28/2009)

Question: Hello.I can pick up tomorrow and bring it to central ca.,shrink wrap it and deliver within 2 days.Fully insured at no extra cost to you $2000 (9/27/2009)

Response: Hello, Thanks for the e-mail and bid. I cant make a determination yet on a shipper because I am still in hold pattern waiting for the title transfer. We hope to have that done this week possibly the first part of the week if we get lucky. I then can update the listing with a ready for pick up now date. Thats why I stated mid Oct. to just be on the safe side.
Thanks. (9/28/2009)

Response: Hello.Your responce is greatly appreciated. (9/28/2009)

Question: If you would like it shrink wrapped I can pick it up and bring it to a local marina for shrink wrapping. I will be happy to wait till its done. A boat this size is roughly 400 for shrink wrap. Thanks (9/29/2009)

Response: Thanks for the info. I am just concerned about the boat getting wet and really dirty inside due to it being a mid/open bow type hull design.
white seats, speakers exposed, carpet, etc...
But, I also dont want "any damage" to the boat due to shrink wrap issues. I didnt know that could cause rubbing issues? I knew of boat covers doing that of course. Any ideas what to do to keep it from getting wet/dirty inside? thanks. (9/29/2009)

Response: I have seen shrink wrap rub on the seats in a brand new 27ft Pontoon. It wrecked the upper halves of the seats! I couldnt believe it either. I would be happy to review any weather during transport and stop prior to any storms. Ive never had ANY issues with a boat being dirty upon arrival and have transported numerous boats from coast to coast. I can promise you your boat will be very clean upon delivery! Thanks again for considering myself! Alan (9/29/2009)

Response: Thanks again for the good info. I would just hate to see the speakers, electronics get washed out on the trip along with the interior getting dirty from the road trip across the NW.
You said you were close to Parker today? (9/29/2009)

Response: I would be happy to pick this up in the morning! (9/29/2009)

Response: Ok, talk about fast service! That is great. I was thinking that I would have to fly down and meet up with the shipper? If I didnt have to, that would be better yet! How about inspection before shipment? How would you want to do that since I would not be there? I just want to make sure that you were ok with everything as well on your end. (9/29/2009)

Response: I have a very nice digital camera that i use just in case i see anything that might be an issue. Ive inspected hundreds of boats and would be happy to give you a call during inspection. Again, COD IS OK!! (9/29/2009)

Question: Yes i am. I have a home about 2 hours away! (9/29/2009)

Response: That is nice and close for the pick-up. Can you give me a couple of hours to try and get this all dialed in. I need to contact the storage facility and misc. since I am not in the area of course.
What time if we make a deal would you want to pick the boat up at the storage area?
Thanks again for all your time and great info. (9/29/2009)

Response: I can pick it up between 10-11am. Thanks for your time! (9/29/2009)

Question: I can assure you everything would work out great. Ive done this a couple of times. Thanks again! (9/29/2009)

Response: Just trying to get everything in line. I cant get ahold of the seller right now. He must be on a business call. The boat is stored in his storage unit, but he was to transfer all my info to the storage facility this morning. So thats where I am at right now. Sorry. trying to hurry to get you a answer. (9/29/2009)

Response: I would certainly appreciate your business! If you would like to accept my bid I am very flexible and would be happy to finish up on the details with you! Thanks (9/29/2009)

Response: If, for some reason I couldnt get this all in line in the next couple of hours...
What would be the next date and time you could pick up the boat for me?
I hope to have it all lined up today. I am trying my best. (9/29/2009)

Response: If you want to accept my bid I can pick it up anytime this week. I then can cancel other bids I have out there. When someone accepts a bid I cancel all my others. Thanks again for your time, Alan (9/29/2009)

Response: Alan, My only other question would have to do with Insurance coverage. Your profile shows full Value Protection. I know some shippers have that at no additional charge. How do you work the Insurance issues if they were ever needed? I wouldnt think they would, but you just never know. Better to be safe than sorry later.
Thanks. (9/29/2009)

Response: There is a 1000.00 deductable for full coverage replacement which the customer would pay to collect a check if, god forbid, something happens. At no time have I had an insurance claim! I understand your concern! Thanks again, Alan (9/29/2009)
