Questions for this shipment:

Question: Height needs to come down, And what is making this so heavy??? Are you sure on the weight?? (7/25/2007)
Response: The weight of 15,000 lbs is for the boat loaded with fuel and water. Fuel and water weigh about 1900 lbs. At the time of transport, there will be no water, and the fuel should be about 1/2 to 3/4 tank. Accordingly, the boat should weigh about 14,000 lbs. Is it not possible to ship the boat with the tower on? (7/25/2007)
Response: The height will need to come down, We like to see it at 11ft so when it is on the trailer it will be at 13ft. (7/25/2007)
Question: shipper.is the boat able to go by water?if so i can save you alot of issues and extra expenses (7/25/2007)
Response: Can you define "By Water" as in captaining the boat back to MI on its own power or loading this boat onto a larger boat to transport back to MI? (7/25/2007)
Response: i was meaning captian it to its final destination.it wouldnt be near as far by water,as well you wouldnt have loading and unloading fees as well as the added risk of trying to get through chicago traffic as well as the height issue it wouldnt beable to go by land at that height.so you would have expenses paying to have it shrunk down and then reassembled when it gets to the new location.just a thought but it would seem by having it captined would save a lot of time and added expenses that you wont have going by water (7/25/2007)
Question: ...or at least take it across to Traverse City and ship it from there. (7/25/2007)
Response: That would be an option. The boat cruises at 30mph. It would only take 2-3 hrs to get to Traverse city then ship from there. What would this scenario cost? (7/25/2007)
Response: ...less (7/25/2007)
Question: Would you take the boat across the pond or would you hire a captain? Thanks. Howard Bouwens, Jr. Botote (7/27/2007)
Question: Thanks for the request. Yes I can haul this but the tower would have to come down. Jake III (8/31/2007)
Response: Not a problem, I will disassemble the tower and outriggers and remove them from the boat. (8/31/2007)
Question: THANKS FOR THE REQUEST,BUT WE ONLY TRANSPORT BOAT ON THERE OWN TRAILER...JIMSTOW (8/31/2007)
Question: Hello shipper - we are headed to Kingston Ontario with an empty hydraulic marine trailer the week of 9/10. Could work this short haul in if you have the boat prepped, blocked on land, and overall keel-to-highest measurement to no more than 11'6". Load and delivery would need to be in the same day - and would prefer to have the owner of the boat, or an agent of his onhand. Please advise, we'll bid accordingly. (9/1/2007)
Response: Hi, I could have the boat ready and on land next week, but do you have the ability to load the boat onto the trailer or will you need the boat yards lift. If you need the boat yard to lift / place on your trailer, then I would just need to know what day and time you will be there (if awarded the job) so I can have them do the lift and avoid having to pay to have it pulled from the water and placed on land and then having it lifted from land onto your trailer. I will have to check on the height this weekend when I am removing the tower but I think it should be under 11'6". (9/4/2007)
Response: We can load to/from blocks, or freshwater launch. Prefer not to freshwater load. (9/4/2007)
Question: When do you need this boat moved. Is it ready. I will be in Michigan next week. Let me know. (9/1/2007)
Response: Hi, The boat is not ready to be moved yet, but I can have the tower removed by this weekend and have it ready to pulled and placed onto a trailer for delivery if need be. (9/4/2007)
