Response: Mooring is arranged at Dagmars in Everett. If you require a sling for loading or unloading some advance arrangement will be required, at the destination they prefer to limit sling operation to Monday - Thursday. Contact at origination (Ventura, CA) lives several hours from the Marina so a little coordination will go a long way. We will be out of the country 7/31 through 8/20 so delivery must occur before or after that window. If total rig height exceeds 14' 3" there's an alternate approach to the destination Marina to be taken which avoids a low bridge. Response: With regards height: If your lowboy has 18" load height and the boat overall is 12'8" with drive down that should be 14'2", I'm hoping we save at least 18" by having the drive up making it more like 13' or just under. Looking at completed bids here on uShip suggests that plenty of providers are willing to haul for anywhere from $1.50 to $2.80 per mile, a co-worker recently had a 30' hauled from FL to WA for $4,500 - that's $1.46 per mile. I'd like to stay below $2.80/mile. (7/12/2007)
