Question: Thanks for the request but my trailer is not submesible, it's used for transport only but depending on the bids you end up with you know we can always hire a crane if there isnt a marina or boat sales around without a lift (3/14/2008)

Response: The area here has no forklift to remove the boat from your trailer.... The is a port here but it is 1K to sling a boat! I thought that was a bit HIGH! I was looking for an easier and cheaper was to get it back in the water! Any suggestions? I am new to this process.....thanks Jay (3/14/2008)

Response: Yes that is extremely high it should be 10$ a foot or 300 flat rate for a one way load I'm sure there are marinas in St pete that are at that rate I can call a partner of mine up there and see what is the best place to go to, and at the other end we can hire a crane which will run 300 to 450 depending on what size crane they will want to use they have a 3 hour minimum and its 100 to 150 an hr if you want to check on them yourself in the area you will be in who knows alabama it could be a little cheaper i have hauled a couple sailboats over 30' and it has been 450 every time but they are weighing in at 12,000 to 15,000 (3/14/2008)

Response: thanks, But I need it hauled on a submersable trailer. (3/16/2008)

Response: Ok no problem, for some reason the first time I read your listing it said this was going to Mobile, AL but I see it says Shreveport now so I assume this is a fresh water lake? If it is I am willing to use my trailer for that, verify for me and I will place a bid thanks (3/17/2008)

Response: Sorry for misunderstanding in ad.Yes it is fresh water(red river). The ramps are B.A.S.S. approved. That may not mean any thing to you. They are nice. I have seen a Chaparral 350 launched and retrieved there with no problems. (3/17/2008)

Response: ok no problem the reason we ask about the ramp is my trailer is 48 long and low to the ground but I have ways to adjust as long as they are pretty normal boat ramps and not a steep one I haven't had a problem yet but you never know i just like to mention in case being a new ramp Im sure it's probably not that steep (3/17/2008)

Response: No problem I will let you know when all is ready! (3/17/2008)

Response: sounds good i will place a bid when you let me know your getting closer to accepting hopefully i can be lower than what you end up with (3/17/2008)

Response: I need ot moved next week. (3/22/2008)

Response: Ok sorry I wont be able to help you this time I am a one man one truck organization and I will be just getting back to florida next week ready to pick up an already scheduled shipment (3/23/2008)

Response: Thanks anyway! (3/23/2008)

Question: how will she be loaded? Also, how steep is the ramp at delivery? (3/14/2008)

Response: It will be loaded by forklift in FLA.at the marina. I will make arrangments to pay the fee for the forklift or slings need to load. We have a nice ramp here LA.They are BASS approved If that means anything to you. It is 4 wide concrete at a new marina here in N. w. LA. We have launched 35ft Chaparral with a 1 ton pickup with no problems. If you would like to see it look up Red River South Marina and resort web site and I think there are pic of the ramp. thanks Jay (3/14/2008)

Response: What is your desired pickup/delivery date for this shipment. Our bid would be 2100.00. We will wet launch for you. (3/17/2008)

Response: I am having abit of trouble with the survey report.I will know more on friday. After oil samples are returned. If all goes well I will need it move around or on 3-25-08? It has to be out of the marina by the end of the month or SOMEBODYS(the old owner) gotta pay a storage bill to the marina.I will know more friday 3-21-08 and will inform. Thanks Jay (3/17/2008)

Response: Sounds good, we can assist you. Just let us know when everything looks good and we will place a bid. (3/17/2008)
