Questions for this shipment:
Question:
i'll be in the area around 12/1or2 if u still need this trannsported then, i'll be glad to work out a deal with u since i'll be heading to texas (home). thanks, larry (11/21/2005)
Response:
Hi Larry. Thanks for responding. Can you give me some kind of an idea of how much you can do this for. Alan (11/21/2005)
Question:
i normally charge to tow a 8000lb boat/trailer around 1.25 per mile. but since i'll be heading that way, how do .75 per mile sound. do u think this is reasonable ? thanks (11/22/2005)
Question:
from zip to zip is 2338 miles @ .75 is $1755. is this reasonable enough ? (11/22/2005)
Question:
SKIPJACK is a hack beware! Shipper I have a load going that way as well! I can haul it for .74 cent per mile. Let me know! Thanx! (11/25/2005)
Question:
hello alan, checking back to see do u still need to ship. let me know so i can place a bid today. thanks & may God bless. larry (11/26/2005)
Response:
Larry, I still would like to have it shipped am thinking about shipping after Christmas, possibly the end of February due to the cost. I had originally only budgeted $700 to get it here since I am planning to completely rebuild the boat. My dad's place is about three miles from the truck stop in Ellensburg, WA and he thought he could get someone from the Truck Stop to bring it back on a return load since he used to drive trucks as well. If it ends up costing me closer to the figure you are proposing, I definitely need to wait till February to have it shipped. (11/26/2005)
Question:
So my offer of $0.74 CPM is no good for you? (11/27/2005)
Question:
i'll be in ca later this week. can we work with 1300. ? a little over half of this will spent in diesel alone. this is the best offer i can make. (11/28/2005)
Response:
Hi Larry. I have a bid for $995 to tow behind a pickup. I think that's the route I am going to take and will ship at the beginning of March. Thanks so much for your interest. (11/28/2005)
Question:
BEGINING OF MARCH? Why did you waste all of our time with a listing this far out? Your ad stated "Timeframe: As soon as reasonable." We really need a site called "READY to SHIP" real shippers ready to rock and roll! Not this I am shopping around, Ill answer questions every 3 to 4 days, or not all! Shipper you need to understand how logistics work. If I get a load going from FL to the north west, I need to get back out of there, I see your load and begin to follow it. Ask questions, and try to make the deal, then after a week (which is a joke) of going back and forth, I find out this isn't even ready to go till march? Do you even begin to see what this does? And when a lot of shippers are wasting our time in similar ways it starts to add up fast! Something has to change on this site. The shipping industry doesnt work like this, loads post that are ready! Its all Logistics. This is a cluster *&@%! (12/2/2005)
