Question: My dad is in CA. He is leaving in the next couple days. When would you like this to be shipped? I can give you a good price if you want it delivered in the next couple days. I have dropped my rates considering the fuel prices. We own a 2004 HD pick-up that can fit the pallet. Please let me know. I also have pics. Lisa (9/30/2008)
Response: Hi Lisa, I believe you put a bid in earlier today as well. I have received a lower quote from Averritt Freight, but was trying to get lower than them, as well as throw some business to maybe a local/independent that might need some help. I am looking for a truck that is totally enclosed, as I would like to protect it, at least somewhat, from the elements. Delivery date is not an issue, but pick-up date might be a little bit of one. I am having the container shipped to the winery now, and it should only take a day or two to prepare the shipment, once they receive the container. Response: The freight can be ready whenever you need it to be. I will provide the carrier with contact info to the winery and they will make it ready just before you arrive to prevent spoilage and/or oxidation. I can pay by credit card without a problem. Response: The shipment can be readied whenever you need it to be. The container and the wine are in the same location and I will provide the carrier with contact info for the winery and they will make it ready just before you arrive to prevent spoilage or oxidation. Question: Wat are you shipping pallet or container? if is apallet my price will be $375.00, and we can do pick up every day (11/19/2008)
Response: It is a palletized bulk liquid container...plastic container inside an aluminum frame with forklift skids on the bottom. Please advise as to if you are still able to accomodate this and what type of vehicle it will be traveling in. Thanks for your interest. Greg (11/19/2008)
