Additional Information: I would like to make this as easy as possible for potential transporters. This is a lightweight 27’ sailboat with a retractable keel and a tandem trailer with freshly greased bearings. All up weight is around 4500 lbs. The boat is currently located in Kemah, TX and is available for pickup as of Nov.9 I can meet you in Seattle at whatever time and day works best for you. I am happy to pay cash on arrival and will answer whatever questions that you have. I am in no rush and as such, am hoping for a good deal.

Response: I have hired someone experienced to properly prepare the boat for transport as I don’t believe the transporter should have to deal with issues such as a mast that has been poorly tied down or a loose outboard down below causing damage or whatever else. The fellow I hired indicated that the boat would be ready for pickup on Nov.9 so out of respect for the date he provided I will have to stay with Nov 9 as the pick up date. Thanks for asking. Question: Hello this is windinhair,would like to know if the tires are in good shape to make the trip,also are the plates up to date,does the trailer have a spare in case we have a flat.I am aM/C,also have a US-DOT# with,750,000.00k in liability and 100,000.00k in cargo insuarce at no cost to you.I operate a F-250,I run 47 states,I have a DOT sleeper on my truck so I sleep with all cargo I transport.I will put a winning [hopefully]bid when I here back from you.Thank you windinhair,please repond. Response: Hi thanks for bidding. Unfortunately I have not had a chance to view the trailer first hand, so I cannot comment on specifically the tires; although the trailer apparently only made one road trip from Corpus C. to Kemah, TX where it currently sits. There is no spare at the present time however I am trying to organize one to be there for Friday when the boat is ready for pick up. I will also ask about the status of the pates and get back to you. Question: What is the total length of the trailer with the boat? (11/5/2007)

Response: No totally certain as I am not there to measure.. The boat is 27’ LOA and the mast is rouhly 38’ LOA. Typically the trailer extends 6’-8’ and the mast on this trailer also is supported at the tonque. Thus I would estimate total length to be between 35’-40’. Sorry I cannot be more precise. I will see if I can get a more exact figure from the broker (11/5/2007)
