Question: Hello shipper, I can do this for you after Xmas. I am fulley insured and dot permitted. Bid will be 375. THX POPEYE (12/23/2006)
Question: I now have a booked trip to california. If you still need this shipped I will include insurance at no extra cost from what we talked about previously instead of adding it. I hope this helps you with your decision. Again, you will not be sorry should you choose me. Thanks. (12/29/2006)
Question: I. can help you out with this tomorow for a buck a mile. Has to be Sat. morn and I need to know right away before I plan something else out. Thanks! (12/29/2006)
Question: I. can help you out with this tomorow for a buck a mile. Has to be Sat. morn and I need to know right away before I plan something else out. Thanks! (12/29/2006)
Response: unfortunately the guys who are supposed to have taken down the mast and wrapped it never did before they took off for the holidays. Soo, it's not ready. sorry!! (12/29/2006)
Question: How hard would it be to take it down? Would there be someone to help me? (12/29/2006)
Response: it takes quite a bit of time, and 2 people that know what they're doin'. There's nobody around to help until next week. Dave (12/29/2006)
Question: How about me and you? (12/29/2006)
Question: Just wanted to let you know that my time that I will be out your way is now looking like the 11th-16th of jan. (12/30/2006)
Question: Hello I have transported many sailboats and have stepped over 30 masts from 20 ft to 50 ft if you were not available to help I am sure I could find someone at the yard to help. Is the boat on the trailer or would I have to load it. Let me if you are interested I can due it for $375. Thanks. (1/2/2007)
Response: well, hell if you want to unstep the mast, put it on the boat, tie down the rig and the boat and deliver it you got the job. It's on the trtailer already- you'd need to tie it down for the trip. I think it's a 2 inch ball. [phone number removed] (1/2/2007)
Question: "Per uShip rules, bids must be all inclusive." - uShip. Thank you for your response, it would be a violation of uship rules for me to contact you by phone. The price I offered is for shipping only. the stepping of the mast would be billed at a hourly rate of $ 55.00 per.Is the trailer road ready(tires and wheel bearings, license and tags. Is the boat at a marina. thanks. (1/2/2007)
Response: well, sorry- I got red flagged for the phone number- I had no idea. The boat's on a trailer- good tires, new bearings. However, I don't think the license plate tags are current- the yacht broker is working on the registration for it. The boat's sitting on its trailer at Alameda marina dry storage. Any guess how long it takes to unstep mast? Did you put in a bid?? Dave (1/3/2007)
Question: in responce,if the mast sits on deck it would take 1 to 2 hr. to step mast, wrap and properly secure it for transport and I would have to pay a onsite helper $20.00. I have not submited a bid, if you are interested my price would be $445.00 to step wrap and secure mast, transport door to door. Thank you for your interest Dave. (1/4/2007)
Response: in case I gorgot to respond earlier- let's do it!! Please bid on Uhsip. Dave (1/4/2007)
